Allrecipes' editorial guidelines Published on November 15, 2024 Close Photo: NBC/Dotdash Meredith We’ve become accustomed to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” host Jimmy Fallon, spending his late-night hour asking celebrities about their favorite things and upcoming projects. And don’t get us wrong, we love learning about John Legend’s fondness for chicken and pancakes and Milk Bar founder Christina Tossi’s creative snack combo of Cheetos and vanilla frosting. However, as Fallon fans, it's a good day any time we can get a rare glimpse into the host’s life. Sometimes, it happens during an interview on “The Tonight Show,” like when Fallon agreed with Cher that Serendipity3 and its famous frozen hot chocolate is one of the best spots in New York City. Other times, it’s through Fallon’s own social media when he’s cooking and baking with his daughters. Recently, though, Fallon has stepped into the solo spotlight with the release of his new holiday comedy album, “Holiday Seasoning,” which was named Billboard's number two holiday album and number one comedy album. Jimmy Fallon's New Holiday Seasoning Collection In the spirit of the album’s name, Fallon introduced some holiday seasonings of his own in a partnership with The Spice House. The collection includes Poultry Stuffing Seasoning, House Turkey Blend, Apple Pie Spice, and Jimmy’s Gingersnap Cocoa, a hot cocoa mix that he created with his two daughters. The Spice House Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Collection is available as a gift set at The Spice House retail locations, Crate & Barrel, and 30 Rock Store, as well as on The Spice House’s site. With every set purchased, a portion of the sales will be donated to Feeding America to provide food and resources to food banks, food pantries, and local meal programs. To coincide with the launch, The Spice House and Fallon shared two must-make recipes using the seasonings to carry you through the holiday season. First is Fallon’s Gingersnap Cocoa, which combines the cocoa mix with milk—though Fallon says a splash of Irish cream makes a great late-night cocktail. The second is a simple Holiday Herb Stuffing that showcases the Poultry Stuffing Seasoning. The Fallon-approved stuffing features day-old ciabatta bread, butter, onions, celery, Poultry Stuffing Seasoning (a blend of sage, white pepper, and bell pepper), and stock—plus, two unexpected ingredients that give the stuffing a unique sweet and savory flavor. To combine the fall and winter flavors, the recipe calls for Granny Smith apples and cranberries. It’s the perfect recipe if you already add cranberry sauce to your stuffing on Turkey Day.The simple side is an easy way to impress your guests with new flavors this Turkey Day. And, even though Fallon and Dolly Parton sing that it’s “Almost Too Early for Christmas,” we don’t think it’s too soon to have “Holiday Seasoning” on repeat while we cook. Here's how to make it.
