Honey-chamomile simple syrup and amaro are the stars of this party-pleasing cocktail. Add chopped fresh apples and top off with prosecco and sparkling water just before serving.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 2 chamomile tea bag

  • 1/3 cup boiling water

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 3/4 cup Amaro Nonino or apple brandy

  • 1 red apple, finely chopped

  • 1 (750-ml bottle) prosecco, chilled

  • 3/4 cup sparkling water, chilled

Directions

  1. Steep chamomile tea bags in 1/3 cup boiling water for about 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Stir in honey until dissolved. Cover and chill honey-chamomile syrup until ready to use.

  2. Combine 3/4 cup Amaro Nonino (or apple brandy) and honey-chamomile syrup in a pitcher. Chill for 1 hour to allow flavors to meld. Add chopped apple, prosecco, and sparkling water to pitcher just before serving.
