The transition between summer and fall can be tough. Not only do we close out a season filled with vacations and late sunsets, but we also say goodbye to consistently warm days for the rest of the year. Instead of sipping frozen lemonade, we start reaching for warm, cozy drinks, like homemade apple cider and creamy hot cocoa

While the change can be exciting, the shift can also be a bit tricky. Before the leaves turn and the temperature permanently cools down, we are faced with a few weeks of chilly mornings that quickly transition into hot afternoons.

Many of our favorite chains have launched their latest lineups filled with warm seasonal favorites. But if you’re not quite ready to grab a piping hot Pumpkin Spice Latte, don’t worry, you have options. Häagen-Dazs Shops is launching its frozen fall menu so you can enjoy all the flavors of the upcoming season while keeping cool in these final days of summer.

Häagen-Dazs is kicking off the countdown to fall by bringing its Pumpkin Spice Shake back to shops. The beloved refresher has been a favorite among fans, blending ice cream and pumpkin puree for a sweet and cooling treat.

This year, the shake is joined by a new frozen offering—the Pumpkin Spice Dazzler, a dessert made with scoops of dulce de leche ice cream layered between decadent caramel sauce and bits of crunchy cinnamon cookie. The frozen dish is topped with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, giving it a presentation worthy of its name.

These two creations are unique finds in the sea of autumn-inspired treats because rather than using pumpkin or vanilla ice cream, both feature dulce de leche ice cream. Dulce de leche is made by cooking down milk until it resembles a thick and creamy caramel. It’s a popular flavor due to its richness and is featured in a range of desserts such as dulce de leche cake, brownies, and cookies. Dulce de leche also pairs well with cinnamon and pumpkin, making it an ideal addition to fall goodies.

The Pumpkin Spice Shake and Pumpkin Spice Dazzler are available at Häagen-Dazs Shops from Sept. 1 - Nov. 14, so be sure to try them both before they’re gone.
