It’s always ice cream season, but warmer days and more daylight mean extra opportunities to enjoy your favorite frozen treat. You might think of Dairy Queen as a place to get your Blizzard or dipped cone, but the ice cream chain is so much more than that. Don’t get us wrong, a Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard is a great go-to anytime, but sometimes we want to switch it up. And, what better way than with DQ’s all-new milkshake? Dairy Queen teamed up with a fan-loved cookie brand to give customers a new limited-time shake. Peanut butter lovers, this one’s for you. Dairy Queen Introduces Nutter Butter Shake Dairy Queen/Allrecipes On April 1, DQ is adding a Nutter Butter Shake to the menu—and no, it’s not an April Fool’s joke. The brand-new offering features real pieces of Nutter Butter’s sweet and savory peanut butter cookies blended with DQ’s classic vanilla soft serve ice cream, perfectly finished with a dollop of whipped cream. The new shake will hit menus for a limited time—while supplies last—at participating restaurants nationwide. You can check your DQ app to find out if your local Dairy Queen will offer the PB cookie shake. Dairy Queen does currently sell a regular Peanut Butter Shake that’s made with a peanut butter topping. However, the Nutter Butter Shake takes it to the next level by blending peanut butter cookie crumbles into the creamy milkshake. The Nutter Butter Shake is yet another testament to Dairy Queen’s strong partnership with Snackworks and Mondelez International, who own Nutter Butter (as well as Oreo). It’s no secret that Dairy Queen loves to utilize the chocolate sandwich cookie in its Blizzards and other menu items. Hopefully, if the Nutter Butter Shake sells well, we will see more from the brands' collaboration. We’re talking adding Nutter Butter crumbles to the Peanut Buster Parfait, introducing a Chips Ahoy! Blizzard (especially with the cookie’s new recipe), and, of course, more Oreo anything. But, we may be getting ahead of ourselves. So, for now, we’ll just be happy with the peanut butter cookie shake that’s arriving soon. After all, it is a PB lover’s dream come true. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
