There she also maintains her catering company, Elizabeth Heiskell Catering, that is in its 22nd year. Elizabeth was head chef at Viking Range Corporation for eight years where she added fun and vitality to all of her cooking classes. Now she is a food contributor for The Today Show and has appeared as a judge on Food Network's The Kitchen and on Chopped. Elizabeth is a Southern Living contributing editor and author of three best selling cook books: "What Can I Bring," "The Southern Living Party Cook Book," and "Come On Over". Experience As Lead Culinary Instructor at the Viking Cooking School in nearby Greenwood, world headquarters of the Viking Range Corporation, Elizabeth Heiskell has represented Viking on exclusive Silver Sea cruises through Spain, Portugal, Hawaii.Elizabeth has been the owner and head chef of Elizabeth Heiskell Catering for 24 years. Chef Heiskell has prepared food for such notables as the Duchess of York, Former Vice President Al Gore, Chef Thomas Keller, Priscilla Presley and the governors of Mississippi, Texas, and Arizona. From weddings to dinner parties, Elizabeth serves for any and every occasion.In October of 2017 Elizabeth published her best-selling cookbook, “What Can I bring?” The following October she was asked to redo the Southern Living’s best-selling cookbook of all times, “Southern Living Parties”. It was released in October of 2018 and is set to be as treasured a cookbook as its predecessor. Her third cookbook "Come On Over" was released in 2021, and also made it to several best-sellers lists.
