I found that the lemon flavor needs to be upped. Maybe adding some lemon extract as other reviewers did would help. Other than that, we liked it. Thanks for the recipe.

This is really good. The down side is that the bread gets soggy. Next time I will put the bread on the top during the last 5-10 minutes and top it off with more cheese. Thanks for the recipe.

I added the zest of 1 lemon but the lemon taste was still very subtle. I thought it was just ok. Not something I would make again. Thank you for sharing your recipe,nonetheless.

I made half of the recipe and got 60 cookies not 18 as stated in the recipe . There was way too many chocolate chips and I cut those back down to 2 cups instead p 2.5 cups. I thought they were just ok and tasted nothing like an Almond Joy bar. I gifted them to my neighbors (since there was so many cookies). One neighbor loved them, another said they were ok and a third neighbor did not care for them.
