This is a winner! The stock you use and the favor package are the key. I didn't have cream so used milk and it came out very good. It was even better the next day. My husband said this was also a good base for other soups - next time I will chop up some potatoes and crumple in some bacon and omit the chicken and rice for a nice potato soup. Thank you for submitting it.

Seriously disappointing. The shortbread cookie was good but there was no lemon flavor. I tasted the custard before pouring it in the pan and it was lemony and not too sweet. It came out of the oven and all i could taste was shortbread. It was tasty shortbread but it was nothing like lemon squares I'm used to and it definitely was not like a pie. I'll try it again but I'm not holding out hope.

I make this and use it as my cereal. I skip the cut oats if I dont have them on hand and I cant tell the difference. I use peanuts and raisins. I mix the chocolate chips in with the rest of the ingredients. I made a batch without nuts and it was good as well. You can play around with your ingredients to suit your taste. Way less expensive than the boxed stuff and more control over whats in it.

I put everything and added the extra salt. I peeked in after a half hour and it was a big mess. I told myself to trust the system and the reviews. Checked again, still a mess. That's when I realized I didn't have the pan locked down. Once I fixed that and restarted, it went like a dream. Formed a really nice dough. Had a very nice rise and had a nice crust and flavor. Didn't taste the salt, didn't taste sweet. Went really well with the bacon. Hubby toasted his and it sounded crunchy and he ate it so.... I will definitely be making this again. I think it would be great making panninis.
