A tad on the bland side so I kicked it up by adding apple cidar vinegar, salsa, cilantro, and diced onion. NOW it's edible. Served with baked chicken...very balanced meal. Helpful (1) Cobb Salad 01/19/2010 I like to make my Cobb Salad chopped so the ingredients are very fine and I can get a taste of everything into each bite. YUMMY!!! Helpful (3) Sausage Balls 09/14/2009 My only advice is to grate your own cheese. Companies add starch to pre-grated cheese so it stays separated and looks pretty. That added starch will hinder juicy & moist sausage balls. Helpful (70) Artichoke Spinach Dip 08/12/2009 After cooking I added some green onions that I needed to use up. Also, next time I will add 2 cups of Monterrey Jack cheese. Yummy!! Helpful (1) White Chili with Ground Turkey 08/01/2009 Great ground base to get me started. Very bland, though. I like flavorful, full bodied foods. Had to add an array of spices to give it any oomph. A tsp. of cinnamon was a little overpowering. I will only add a small dash next time. And was not spicy at all so my kiddos could enjoy as well. Helpful (0) Crab and Swiss Quiche 07/11/2009 Oh, my goodness. We have had this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great "core" recipe where your imagination is the limit. I have added spinach and green onion to this recipe with thinly sliced tomatoes on top. Or I will completely change it up and add bacon and onions with cheddar cheese, instead of the crab and swiss. Also, I have found that the crust cooks more evenly if I put it in my glass pie pan.
