I never realized how many cucumbers 1 plant produces. So since I have so many I decided to look for a recipe like my mom used to make for us as kids. BINGO! This is definitely the one. I followed the recipe, but excluded salt and pepper. Neither are needed in my eyes. My whole family really enjoyed it!. Thank you! Helpful (2) Fluffy French Toast 06/22/2011 Everyone in my family loved this french toast recipe. We topped it with strawberries and whipped cream. Delicious! I'm thinking I can always make extras and freeze them. Then you thaw it a little and pop them in the toaster. This will definitely be added to our weekly menu. Thank you! Helpful (1) Five Cup Salad 06/11/2011 I made this for Easter 2011. Mainly because I seen the cutest bunny marshmallows at the store and knew I wanted to use them for some dish. Well, my family couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I had 20 people over and 10 asked for the recipe. I will definitely continue to add this dish to our party menus. Easy to make and inexpensive...a perfect combination! Helpful (2) Awesome Roast Beef 06/07/2011 I would like to start off by saying that when it comes to "awesome roast beef" most recipes that I've tried never hold up. However, this recipe actually is "AWESOME"! I did switch out 1 ingredient only because I didn't have beef broth. So I used what I did have on hand...Campbell's French Onion Soup. I whisked the 2 together and put the meat in. I did scoop up some of the soup mixture to put on top of the meat. I set my crock pot on HIGH for 5 hours. And let me tell you it not only smelled delicious. It was delicious! So much so that my husband even drank all of the au jus. Wow! Now that's good! Helpful (2) Puppy Chow 05/18/2011 I have been meaning to make this for quite some time. My daughter's school always sells a ton of this for any bake sale. People can't seem to get enough of it. They LOVE it! I finally made it using this recipe without changing anything with the exception of I only had 'corn' cereal squares. And not only was this really easy to make, but my family raved about it. I also sent it in for my daughter's birthday treat for school and the kids loved it! I should also mention that I used mini morsels so that they would melt faster. I will definitely continue to make this recipe for many years to come. Helpful (1) Pistachio Nut Cake I 04/26/2011 This cake is absolutely delicious and I'm not even a huge pistachio lover. It resembles the texture of angel food cake...but with pistachio! Yum!
