Sometimes I sub brown sugar for the white. It is a little more moist that way. I have squeezed out the water in the zucchini and I don't recommend that. Makes the batter very hard to mix and the bread is more dry. This bread is perfect! Helpful (0) Grilled Lemon Chicken 03/02/2015 Marinaded boneless skinless chicken thighs for 6 hours then grilled. Not much flavor. I needed to squeeze a few lemons over and salt the cooked chicken after just to taste anything. The chicken was tender. Helpful (1) Honey Mustard Dressing 09/04/2014 Oh my goodness!!! This is amazing! I am on the fence when it comes to honey mustard. I'm a mustard fan, yet not so much a honey "lover". I usually steer clear, but tonight I made this for my family to go along with chicken strips. I ended up trying some and I have to say, this was FANTASTIC! I started dipping everything from my plate it. Broccoli, pasta, my fingers..you name it. Awesome recipe. Its a must try. Promise you won't be disappointed. Oh, btw..followed exactly EXCEPT no lemon juice (whomp whomp). I just sub'd white vinegar. Still fabulous. Helpful (1) Delicious Ham and Potato Soup 12/26/2010 Delicious. I've never had ham soup before but based on the amount of 5-star reviews I just had to make this with some of my leftover holiday ham. I added about 1/4 cup diced carrots for color and 2 extra cups of water. It looked like it was going to be very thick with only 3. I shouldn't have done that because with the milk, the soup would have had a perfect viscosity. Taste is still fantastic! Super easy and a perfect recipe for your extra Xmas ham. Helpful (2) Chantal's New York Cheesecake 12/26/2010 I have made this cheesecake for years with people begging for it each and every holiday. For sone reason this year I decided to make Alton Browns cheesecake. This is, BY FAR, much much better!! Will never use another recipe. Helpful (1) Basil Caesar Salmon 09/18/2010 So easy and really good. I did use dill instead of basil and it was fantastic. This does, however, "hide" the fish flavor, so if you're trying to get kids who don't like fish to eat salmon..this is a great recipe.
