September 2024 Great flavors I used half olive oil and half sunflower oil Helpful (0) Allrecipes Member reviewed SAS4U’s Easy Basil Pesto with Almonds Recipe. 06/22/2023 So good! 2nd time to make. I'd suggest pulsing the almonds a few times before adding the other ingredients. Served the first time over pan grilled chicken breasts & pasta. This batch going on salmon fillets before popping in the oven. Helpful (0) Buckwheat Queen reviewed SAS4U’s Easy Basil Pesto with Almonds Recipe. 01/04/2021 This is delicious! It’s cheaper than the traditional pine nut recipe, but it’s great even for of taste. I didn’t roast the almonds first. It was gone in no time. I used the zest and juice from three medium lemons. I also added 1/2 tsp cream of tartar to the egg whites. I might double the meringue next time since I like it mile high. I am also going to make this with lime in place of lemon and see how it turns out. Helpful (1) Roasted Pears with Caramel Sauce 06/11/2010 Easy and impressive. This would make a great dinner party dessert. I topped with whipped cream. Helpful (1) Cream Cheese-Jalapeño Hamburgers 06/11/2010 YUM YUM YUM!!! Any Jalapeno popper lover HAS to try these! I used fresh chopped jalapenos and they gave the burgers amazing flavor. Not the easiest patty to form and can get messy trying to flip on the grill but O-M-G...SOOO worth it. I can not believe these are not on restaurant menus everywhere! Helpful (2) Easy Homemade Pizza Dough 06/11/2010 I went ahead and let this rise a couple times simply because I made it early in the day and had the time to do so.(rise=flavor) I added Italian spice mix and a touch of onion powder when I added the flour. It was good. Not as airy and bubble as I personally like but it baked up really crispy and golden. Nothing worse than a soggy bottom pizza and this was anything but. I would defiantly use this recipe again but my hunt for the perfect homemade crust continues. Helpful (0) Meatloaf With A Bite 06/11/2010 This is yummy, affordable as well as easy. I have made this a good dozen times with all deferent salsas and it never disappoints. I have even used a bit of spaghetti sauce once when I did not have the full amount of salsa on hand and it was still great. I do add a bit more crackers than the recipe calls for and it is still VERY moist. I serve it with oven baked crispy potatoes and a side salad. Prep time is as easy as mixing one bowl and patting into a loaf pan. Hard to believe how far a pound of beef with go! My kids love it too. Helpful (6) Frozen Margaritas 06/11/2010 I have been making Margaritas very similar to this for some time now. I found myself with no good limes one hot day while I was making Tacos...GASP RIGHT!! ha I always have lime aid in the freezer so....walla...The best frozen Margarita was born. I use about a Tablespoon or less of sugar per-pitcher and prefer just a splash of or no triple sec. I use 4 oz Tequila, 1/3 can frozen lime aid, sugar to taste up to 1 tablespoon, splash of triple sec (or none), 2 cups of ice. Place all in that order in a blender. Puree until smooth...Everyone loves these. Now go get out on the deck on a nice hot day and ENJOY! Helpful (6) recipe collections 1 All Saved Recipes 228 Recipes
