Wrapping in foil sounds like a bad idea. Better unwrapped. Putting a lid on a deep fryer is dangerous because steam condenses on lid a drips into boiling oil.

Really good recipe I used all the same ingredients except for salt and pepper. I usually wait until afterwards to add if needed. This one I didn’t feel like it needed either. The only thing I added was a bit of sugar because the tomato sauce I had was a bit acidic. I can see this being used with ground beef or chicken. I will definitely make this again and try adding some cheese to it.

It was great. I added sage to the pork sausage and deglazed the pan with a port wine just because. But it didn't really need anything. I will make this more than just again. Very easy to maike.

I used green cherry tomatoes so not sure if that made it worse but it was way too sour/tart and acidic. I really wanted to love it! No one was able to eat more that a spoonful
