While this is by no means a "quick throw-together" salad, it is worth the time and effort. Absolutely delicious! It's by far the best taco salad I've ever tasted. The avocado slices are a nice addition. The sweet-sour dressing (honey, lime juice and vinegar) really makes the dish. It's quite tart, which I like, but can easily be sweetened up by adding more honey or cutting back on the vinegar. I noticed that the person who submitted the recipe added in a review that she also mixed some olive oil into the dressing. I happened to have some avocado oil on hand and mixed in a few tablespoons of that.I made this salad to take to a potluck dinner yesterday. Everyone loved it. All 8 of the other people present asked me for the recipe. I served the dressing in a gravy boat so that everyone could use as much as they'd like. Also, because you don't put the dressing on ahead of time, the leftover salad keeps well for the next day. I'm enjoying a bowl of it right now.

First-time jelly roll baker here. I made two of these with great success! Per the comments and suggestions of the person who submitted the recipe, I spread on a mixture of cream cheese, vanilla and confectioner's sugar before I put on the jelly filling and rolled the cake. I made one roll with seedless raspberry jam and one roll with lemon filling. To the cake portion of the lemon roll, I stirred some lemon zest into the cake batter for a little extra zip. Both rolls were beautiful and delicious!

I prepared this recipe today for a breakfast meeting and it was a huge hit! All 9 ladies served (including me) loved it. As usual, I couldn't leave a recipe alone, though, and I tweaked it a bit. I used red bell pepper instead of green. The red peppers added more flavor and made the casserole look prettier. I added 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, browned first. I used 9 eggs instead of 6. Finally, I added some salt and pepper. It turned out absolutely scrumptious! By the way - I couldn't find Southern-style hash browns, so I used plain. That's part of the reason why I added seasonings to the recipe.

I made this recipe today, following the instructions exactly as written, and the result was an amazingly scrumptious meal! It is not necessary to brown the meat before baking. After baking for three hours on low heat, my 2.5" thick pot roast came out so tender and juicy that we didn't even need a knife to cut it. The veggies were perfect as well. I highly recommend this recipe. My boyfriend said it's one of the best meals he's ever eaten.

Fantastic cookies! I made these for the first time tonight. I used a yellow cake mix and tossed in a cup of semi-sweet chocolate morsels and about 3/4 cup of pecan pieces. I used a tablespoon to measure the dough, and the cookies took about 14 minutes to bake. The recipe couldn't be easier and the cookies are soft and delicious. It's definitely a keeper!
