Kids and hubby loved it, panko really makes a huge difference in how crispy the chicken comes out, I followed the recipe exactly the same although I did add italian seasoned breadcrumbs to the panko for more flavour, make sure to season your chicken well with salt and pepper on both sides before dipping in the mixtures. Next time I would half the amount of bread crumbs, I ended up with a lot leftover after I was done and I had to throw it all out. Will make again. Helpful (0) Creamy Mushroom Meatloaf 12/13/2012 My family and I just LOVE this repie, I make a basic meatloaf with it (ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, bouillon powder, ketchup and warm water), and I cook the above recipe as stated, no changes as it doesn't need it, it's fabulous as it is, the sauce it produces is soooo good, and I serve it with mashed potatoes, green beans/peas. Great comfort meal on a cold winter day. Helpful (1) Chicken Breasts Supreme 10/29/2012 I made this over the weekend for my family (husband, a toddler and a preschooler) and everyone loved it, the chicken was moist, the sauce was SOO good, I substituted fresh mushrooms for canned, and topped it with some grated real cheddar cheese instead of the processed one. I served it over egg noodles. I look forward to making it again and again! Helpful (0) Greek Salad 08/08/2012 Wonderful salad, loved it, I read one reviewer's suggestion of adding red wine vinegar and sugar to the dress and it just made it PERFECT. I'd definitely recommend using kalamata olives, they make a big difference. Helpful (2) Slider-Style Mini Burgers 08/30/2010 I made this for my 2 year old's birthday party, kids and adults loved them, they were quite a hit and I got asked about the recipe, I followed one reviewer's advice and made the 'special butter': 2 tbsp minced onion flakes, 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce, 1 tbsp Dijon or Spicey Mustard (not the regular yellow), 1/2 cup melted butter. You melt these together and brush ontop of the buns just before you put in the oven to bake. I highly recommend this step. I couldn't find the King Hawaiin buns, we don't have those in Canada, but I got dinner rolls at Walmart and they were good. Althoguh next time i'm in buffalo I will hunt for these buns and try them. Will make again! Helpful (2) Golden State Mushroom Soup 08/30/2010 I thought this recipe was pretty good, but a bit on the heavy tasting side, my husband really enjoyed it though. And I do agree it was quite simple to make. I also left it to sit for a few hours before eating, the flavours were enhanced that way.
