Her bylines have appeared in publications, including The Spruce Eats, EatingWell, Vox, The Art of Eating, Atlas Obscura, Reader's Digest, The Boston Globe, Eater, and Business Insider. Alice started her professional writing career freelancing for WWE Magazine, but her passion for food quickly overtook wrestling. An internship at EatingWell led to a role at Vermont's alt-weekly newspaper, Seven Days, which allowed her to spend time with chefs specializing in skills ranging from molecular gastronomy to sourdough bread baking. After seven years of eating across Vermont, Alice moved to Space City to become the dining editor and critic at Houstonia Magazine. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, she moved to Virginia to join the team at Northern Virginia Magazine as food editor/critic. Alice's go-to dish for a potluck is her Vermont locavore pasta salad, filled with duck confit and Consider Bardwell Farm Cheese. About Allrecipes Home cooks are our heroes; it's as simple as that.
