Things To Do In Anglesey Wales - North Wales Vlog
Welcome to this Things To Do In Anglesey Wales Vlog.
Anglesey is an island in Wales, off the mainland's North West coast.
The island is accessed via the 19 century Menai Suspension Bridge and by the 20th Century Britannia Bridge.
In this things to do in Anglesey wales vlog, our day took a few twists and turns.
Our original plan was to visit Bardsey Island, an island just off the coast of the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales and to make a Bardsey Island vlog, but due to the changing weather conditions and the risk of wind, our trip to Bardsey Island was cancelled last minute.
We decided to look where else we could explore and after a bit of searching, we decided to visit Anglesey and after looking on Trip Advisor, we decided to visit some of the places that were listed as their Top Things...

ANGLESEY Eggs TRADITIONAL Wyau Ynys Môn Welsh dish
Anglesey Eggs ("Wyau Ynys Môn" in Welsh) is a traditional Welsh dish that exemplifies Welsh cuisine's homely and comforting nature. This dish, rooted in Wales's agricultural practices and local produce, particularly the Isle of Anglesey, showcases simple ingredients like potatoes, leeks, eggs, and cheese. The history and significance of Anglesey Eggs are tied to the broader context of Welsh culinary traditions and the island's agricultural heritage.
The Isle of Anglesey, located off the northwest coast of Wales, has been known for its fertile land and agricultural output. For centuries, this has made it a vital source of foodstuffs, including dairy products, vegetables, and livestock.
We decided to look where else we could explore and after a bit of searching, we decided to visit Anglesey and after looking on Trip Advisor, we decided to visit some of the places that were listed as their Top Things To Do In Anglesey Wales.
We drove to the North West of the island to the famous South Stack Lighthouse. We had never been to South Stack before (well, Wills had as a child, but couldn't really remember it).
We had a great time exploring South Stack Lighthouse, although the steps were a killer.
Next on our adventure exploring Anglesey Wales, was a trip to Llangefni and a walk around the Dingle Nature Reserve. Also known as Nant Y Pandy, we went for a lovely free walk around this beautiful nature reserve. If you're looking for things to do for free in Anglesey or things to do for free in North Wales, then the Llangefni Dingle Nature Reserve is highly recommended.
A short drive over the island was next as we headed to the beautiful beach at Red Wharf Bay. If you're looking at contenders for the Best Beaches In North Wales, then Red Wharf Bay must be on the list.
Next off, we take another short drive and head to Benllech Beach. Benllech Beach was a lot busier than Red Wharf Beach, but it was amazing to see so many people enjoying a North Wales seaside resort.
Our final destination before we headed home was taking a trip to see the train station with the longest name in Europe -
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
We also tell you how you pronounce it and what it means.
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is also known as Llanfair PG or, Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll and is a large village and community on the Menai Strait.
We plan to do a separate vlog soon about the meaning and locations of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, so look out for that one in the future.
Finally, it was time to head home for our tradition sum up of the day and enjoy a well deserved pint.
We loved our day trip around Anglesey, North Wales and hope you enjoy this Anglesey vlog.
And as we always say in Postcard and a Pint - Cheers To The Good Times x

⭐ About Postcard & A Pint:
Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint YouTube channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. It's just a bit of fun, and great for our sanity. Your support is hugely appreciated x

As a dish, Anglesey Eggs is thought to have arisen from this agricultural abundance, using readily available ingredients to create a filling meal.
