United Front Games was founded in 2007. Its first official title ModNation Racers, a "User-Generated Content" kart racing game, began production in 2008 and was released on May 21, 2010 in some countries and on May 25, 2010 in the US.
On August 14, 2012, they released Sleeping Dogs (previously known as True Crime: Hong Kong). While it is widely believed that Sleeping Dogs was originally a True Crime title, it in fact was built from the ground up as an original IP. United Front Games also made LittleBigPlanet Karting with help from the series creators Media Molecule.
The united front, sometimes called Pan-Leftism is a form of struggle or political organization that may be carried out by revolutionaries or communist political struggles. The basic theory of the united front tactic was first developed by the Comintern, an international communist organization created by communists in the wake of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.
According to the thesis of the 1922 4th World Congress of the Comintern: “The united front tactic is simply an initiative whereby the Communists propose to join with all workers belonging to other parties and groups and all unaligned workers in a common struggle to defend the immediate, basic interests of the working class against the bourgeoisie.”
The united front allowed workers committed to the revolutionary overthrow of capitalism to struggle alongside non-revolutionary workers. Through these common struggles revolutionaries sought to win other workers to revolutionary socialism. The united front perspective is also used in contemporary and non-Leninist perspectives.
The Northern Alliance fought a defensive war against the Taliban government. They received support from Iran, Russia, Turkey, India, Tajikistan and others, while the Taliban were backed by al-Qaeda. The Northern Alliance was mostly made up of ethnic Tajiks, but later included Uzbeks, Hazaras. The Taliban government was dominated by Pashtuns with other groups being the minority.
