Born in Pisa, Italy, Acuña grew up in Torrance, California, and attended North High School. He is of Mexican and German descent. He was the subscription manager for the skateboard magazine Big Brother. His association with that magazine led him to become involved with the Jackass television series in 2001. Acuña's Jackass antics include skating as an Oompa-Loompa, kicking himself in the head, dressing as a king while rolling Johnny Knoxville down a staircase in a red carpet, and doing deep-knee bends while holding NBA star Shaquille O'Neal on his back. A recurring gag involves Preston Lacy asking someone to help him with his bags, only to have Wee-Man pop out, causing Preston to give chase.
In 2007, Acuña starred in the reality TV series Armed and Famous and in July 2007, Acuña appeared on TV as a host of MTV's Scarred Live.
The Wee Man also called Gangster is a 2013 Scottish gangster film directed by Ray Burdis which depicts the true life story of Scottish criminal Paul Ferris. It stars Martin Compston and John Hannah.
The film was deemed so controversial that Strathclyde police refused to help the filmmakers make the film in Glasgow, Ferris's native city. The production team had to film in London instead due to the lack of support from the legal authorities in Glasgow.
Plot
In 1990 Glasgow, Paul Ferris (Martin Compston) is incarcerated at Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow. In his cell, he reflects on his childhood.
One night, young Paul's father puts him to bed after he is awoken by an assault in a van outside. He tells young Paul how to survive in the world; To always beware of strangers, to always be loyal, and to be a 'lion' and avoid following others in his actions. The next morning, while walking his dog, Paul witnesses an armed robbery on a local off-license by the Banks brothers, a crime family and infamous local hooligans, who later harass young Paul and murder his dog.

Early life
Bratchpiece was born in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire on October 24, 1983 and attended Dalziel High School. His father Mark and brother David were both stand-up comedians. Bratchpiece started becoming involved in comedy during school and while studying at the University of Glasgow.

The Wee Man character first rose to prominence in 2007 when he appeared in the viral YouTube video "Here You (That'll Be Right)" by NEDS Kru. The video garnered over 3.5 million views and featured the character fulfilling the role of a stereotypical Scottish "ned", drinking Buckfast Tonic Wine.
