The Lost Tapes – Rare Recordings 1991–2007 is a compilation album by Ooberman, released in September 2007 on the band's own Rotodisc label.
"Running in date order, most of the tracks were recovered and restored from old cassette and DAT tapes, many of which were thought to have been lost forever in a burglary. The earlier recordings chart Ooberman's pre-indie band days as home recordists when founders Dan Popplewell and Andy Flett would post cassettes and lengthy critiques back and forth between Liverpool and Birmingham.
"Many tracks come from 1994, a big recording year for frontman Dan - he'd finished university, was on the dole with a lot of time on his hands and found himself with a bunch of new recording gear paid for by being a medical research guinea pig. Most music recorded before then was too rough for release, while the following years marked the beginnings of Ooberman's ascent to minor indie fame with most subsequent recordings therefore released on albums and B-sides."
The Lost Tapes is a compilation album by American rapper Nas. It was released on September 23, 2002, by Ill Will Records and Columbia Records, who wanted to capitalize on what was seen in hip hop music as Nas' artistic comeback the year before. The album compiles previously unreleased tracks that were discarded from recording sessions for Nas' previous studio albums, I Am... (1999) and Stillmatic (2001).
The songs on The Lost Tapes feature production by L.E.S., The Alchemist, Poke and Tone, and Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, among others. They feature low-key, sparse sounds and observational lyrics about urban life. Some of the songs are autobiographical and nostalgic, departing from the thug persona of Nas' previous albums.
Released with little promotion, The Lost Tapes debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200, selling over 70,000 copies in its first week. It was met with widespread acclaim from music critics, some of whom viewed it as Nas' best record since his 1994 debut album Illmatic. A second volume of previously unreleased songs was planned before Nas had signed with Def Jam Recordings in 2006, but was delayed and eventually abandoned because of issues with his record label.
In God We Trust, Inc.: The Lost Tapes is VHS/DVD of the Dead Kennedys' first recording session of their EP, In God We Trust Inc.. It was released in July 2003. The session was filmed in June 1981 by Eric Goodfield for a part of a punk documentary he was making. When the DKs went to master the tape it started to peel and deteriorate, so they had to record it again (that session took place in August and was used for the EP). The tape was in Goodfield's collection until the DKs asked him if he would release the video as part of their 25th anniversary. It includes live versions of all the songs except "Hyperactive Child", for which no live footage could be found.

Lost Tapes is an American television horror series that aired on Animal Planet. Produced by Go Go Luckey Entertainment, the program presents found footage depicting traumatic encounters with cryptozoological creatures, including the Chupacabra and Bigfoot, and even supernatural creatures such as the Werewolf and Vampire, and extraterrestrials: Alien and Reptilian.
The pilot (Chupacabra) aired on Animal Planet October 30, 2008, for Halloween, but the series officially premiered on January 6, 2009. Animal Planet commissioned a second season, which premiered on September 29, 2009. Season 3 premiered on September 28, 2010, with episodes featuring zombies and the Kraken. The show also used to air on Planet Green.
Overview
Lost Tapes depicts traumatic scenarios where people are attacked and/or killed by mysterious, dangerous, deadly, savage, and ferocious paranormal wild cryptids. The series is shot in a mockumentary style. Most episodes begin with a quick introduction of facts, which include interviews with experts explaining scientific theories or facts and folklore behind the episode's titular creature. In the second season, some episodes began with footage of a person being attacked and often killed by the episode's creature, an introduction meant to set up the events of each episode. In the third season, every episode had such an introduction, though the events of every episode in all three seasons are accompanied by videos of scientists, cryptozoologists, and folklorists giving their thoughts and opinions of the creatures, which are called Lost Tapes: Revelations.
This is a list of episodes of the Japaneseanimated TV series Planetes(プラネテス,Puranetesu, Ancient Greek: πλάνητες "Wanderers") It began airing its 26 episode run on NHK BS-2 on October 4, 2003 and ended on February 23, 2004. Produced and animated by Sunrise, it was directed by Gorō Taniguchi and scripted by Ichirō Ōkouchi (both of whom would later reunite in 2006 to work on the Sunrise original production Code Geass). The anime began development and production before the end of the manga serialization. In the beginning and middle of the series, the writing and production staff only had the first three volumes of the manga as source. In order to fill the entire 26 episode run of the anime, new characters, new settings and new relationships between characters were made in order to increase dramatic tension, reinforce themes introduced in the manga, and introduce new themes that were compatible with the manga. While the manga deals more with existential themes, and humanity's relationship with space, the anime further expands the political elements of the story.
The Lost is a 2006 American psychological horror film that was written and directed by Chris Sivertson based on the Jack Ketchum novel of the same name. It was produced by Lucky McKee. Supporting cast include Shay Astar, Alex Frost, Michael Bowen, and Robin Sydney. The movie had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival with a limited theatrical release following shortly after.

Lost Tapes Season 1 Episode 7 Cave Demons
On January 24, 2002, Sergeant Carlos Ramos and Corporals Latrel Wade and Derek Sawyer were sent to investigate bizarre interference that had been disrupting a new sonar-based cave-mapping system. The USMC has been using this system at Tora Bora in the wake of an intense bombing campaign in the winter of 2001, and believe that the interference is coming from a new jamming device developed by Al-Qaeda or the Taliban. Ramos was only a few days away from his return to the United States and was looking forward to seeing his wife Danielle and infant son AJ in Chicago, who he sends a video recording to just before going on the mission. After being briefed by their gunnery sergeant on their mission--to locate and destroy the thing that is causing the interference--the three marines made their way ...

Lost Tapes Season 2 Episode 5: Death Crawler
A GIANT CENTIPEDE? Are there giant, killer centipedes lurking in the rain forests of South America? As a matter of fact, yes, there are. Scolopendra gigantea, also known as the Amazonian giant centipede or Peruvian giant yellow-leg centipede, is the world's largest living centipede, regularly reaching lengths of 10 to 12 inches, with one reported specimen in Venezuela measuring 18 inches in length. This 46-legged monster feeds on frogs, tarantulas, birds, lizards, rodents and even bats, catching them mid-flight as the centipede hangs from a cave ceiling. Scolopendra gigantea is a very swift runner and highly adept climber. Like all centipedes, it has modified claws that curve around its head and deliver venom to its prey.

Ramos was only a few days away from his return to the United States and was looking forward to seeing his wife Danielle and infant son AJ in Chicago, who he sends a video recording to just before going on the mission. After being briefed by their gunnery sergeant on their mission--to locate and destroy the thing that is causing the interference--the three marines made their way to the cave and arrive there shortly before midnight, recording the mission with helmet cameras. After confirming their status with base command, Ramos warns Wade and Sawyer to keep their wits about them; none of them have any idea how deep the caves run, and there could be land mines and improvised explosive device anywhere. Shortly after entering the cave, they hear the squeaking of bats as they try to maneuver their way through the darkness by light provided by their helmets. Suddenly, there is a screech as a huge shadow briefly obscures the light from one of their flashlights. As they travel further into the cave, they come upon a disgusting smell and quickly identify it as guano also known as bat faeces.
Ramos takes out a portable device which he uses to track a signal deep in the cave, which they believe is the source of the interference. As they follow the signal, they hear a strange sound and question what it is; when they hear the squeaks of increasingly numerous bats all around them, they assume that they were the source of the noise to them. Sawyer comments that he is afraid of bats, and Ramos jokingly chastises him, which Sawyer doesn't appreciate given their situation. As Wade joins in on teasing Sawyer, there is a sudden explosion as he accidentally sets off a land mine and plummets into another chamber of the cave fifteen feet below them, where their radios will no longer work. Ramos and Sawyer yell towards him to find out if he's okay; Wade is alive, but his spinal cord is broken. As Ramos and Sawyer climb down to him, Wade hears the sound of wings flapping and suddenly sees a large winged creature fly past him. Once Ramos and Sawyer find Wade, they discover that he is unable to move and he warns them that something else is in the cave. A frightened Sawyer asks what it was that he saw, but Ramos insists that Wade has been so badly hurt that he's delirious; Wade insists that he did see something, which resembled a woman, which spawns a brief argument between Sawyer and Ramos. Ramos' portable device begins pulsing rapidly; the source of the interference is very close-by. Resolving to destroy the source of the interference first and then help Wade, Ramos and Sawyer leave him to finish their mission. Sawyer doesn't like this idea, but Ramos insists that everything will be alright. Unbeknownst to Sawyer and Ramos, as they approach the strongest source of the signal, another, smaller source has appeared on the portable device, approaching Wade. Wade is suddenly attacked by a mostly unseen creature, which resembles a giant bat, and opens fire at the creature.

EVEN BIGGER CENTIPEDES? Some claim that a centipede several times the length of Scolopendra gigantea lurks in the unexplored regions of the Amazon, perhaps a living fossil from an era when giant insects were common. Euphoberia, which lived 300 million years ago, is the largest centipede at record, growing up to 39 inches in length. It lived alongside the largest land invertebrate ever: Arthropleura, a close relative of the centipede. Arthropleura reached 8-½ feet in length. These incredible insects vanished from the fossil record at the end of the Permian period when oxygen levels declined sharply and large vertebrate predators appeared on land.
A MAN-KILLER? The largest living centipede, Scolopendra gigantea, has a toxic, extremely intense bite that's been likened to a gunshot wound or broken bone. It can induce anaphylactic shock in those allergic to bee stings and has been known to kill small children on very rare occasions. If a much larger centipede, like Euphoberia, were to have survived from prehistory, its venom might have the potential to kill a full-grown man.
