Stephen Fain "Steve" Earle (/ˈɜːrl/) (born January 17, 1955) is an American rock, country and folk singer-songwriter, record producer, author and actor. Earle began his career as a songwriter in Nashville and released his first EP in 1982. His breakthrough album was the 1986 album Guitar Town. Since then Earle has released 15 other studio albums and received three Grammy awards. His songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Travis Tritt, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Shawn Colvin and Emmylou Harris. He has appeared in film and television, and has written a novel, a play, and a book of short stories.
Earle was born in Fort Monroe, Virginia, and grew up near San Antonio, Texas. His father, Jack Earle, was an air traffic controller. Although he was born in Virginia where his father was stationed, the family returned to Texas before Earle's second birthday. They moved several times but Earle grew up primarily in the San Antonio area.
Earle began learning the guitar at the age of 11 and was placed in a talent contest at his school at age 13. He is reported to have run away from home at age 14 to follow his idol, singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt around Texas. Earle was "rebellious" as a youngster and dropped out of school at the age of 16. He moved to Houston with his 19-year-old uncle, who was also a musician, where he married and worked odd jobs. While in Houston Earle finally met Van Zandt, who became his hero and role model.
Steve Earle (born November 1, 1945) is an English former footballer who played professionally in both England and the United States.
An industrious midfielder, Earle played over ten years (1963–1974) for Fulham F.C. He then moved to Leicester City, playing from 1974 to 1978. During his time with Leicester City, Earle also played one game on loan with Peterborough United. In 1978, Earle moved to the Detroit Express of North American Soccer League. He played fifteen games for the Express in 1978, then moved to the Tulsa Roughnecks for eight more games at the end of the season. He remained with the Roughnecks for two more outdoor as well as one NASL indoor season. In the fall of 1980, he signed with the Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League for one season.
In 1983, Earle became the assistant coach of the Tulsa Roughnecks. In November 1983, he took over as Roughnecks' head coach during the indoor season and had an 11-20 record and was released in March 1984. He later coached other youth and professional teams in Tulsa.
Tecumseh /tᵻˈkʌmsə, tᵻˈkʌmsi/ tə-KUM-sə, tə-KUM-see (March 1768 – October 5, 1813) was a Native American leader of the Shawnee and a large tribal confederacy (known as Tecumseh's Confederacy) which opposed the United States during Tecumseh's War and became an ally of Britain in the War of 1812.
Tecumseh grew up in the Ohio Country during the American Revolutionary War and the Northwest Indian War, where he was constantly exposed to warfare. With Americans continuing to move west after the British ceded the Ohio Valley to the new United States in 1783, the Shawnee moved farther northwest. In 1808, they settled Prophetstown in present-day Indiana. With a vision of establishing an independent Native American nation east of the Mississippi under British protection, Tecumseh worked to recruit additional tribes to the confederacy from the southern United States.
During the War of 1812, Tecumseh's confederacy allied with the British and helped in the capture of Fort Detroit. Prior to the raid, Chief Tecumseh delivered a powerful speech upon a rock that is preserved to this day at Fort Malden. After the U.S. Navy took control of Lake Erie in 1813, the Native Americans and British retreated. American forces caught them at the Battle of the Thames, and killed Tecumseh in October 1813. With his death, his confederation disintegrated, and the Native Americans had to move west again, yet Tecumseh became an iconic folk hero in American, Aboriginal and Canadian history.
Tamanend was honored as the figurehead of USS Delaware in a carving by William Luke. Delaware was burned in 1861 at the Gosport Navy Yard to prevent Confederate capture at the start of the Civil War. In 1868, the saved figurehead, officially titled Tamanend, Chief of Delaware Indians, was transferred to the United States Naval Academy. It was placed on a pedestal outdoors, and simply labeled as "the figurehead of the Delaware". In 1906, the figure was repaired with "cement, putty and paint". It was later replaced with a bronze depiction in 1930 presented by the class of 1891. The bronze was cast at the U.S. Naval Gun Factory in 1929–30.
Tamanend, a pacifist and friend to William Penn, did not inspire the midshipmen of the Academy. They eventually took to calling the figurehead Tecumseh, after the Shawnee warrior chief and ally of the British, who was killed in the Battle of the Thames during the War of 1812.
Luke's original wooden carving was refurbished again in 1970, and now can be found in the Academy's visitor center. In 1930, it's "heart" and "brains" had been placed inside the class gift to provide a continuity of presence.
Tecumseh /tᵻˈkʌmsi/ is a town in Essex County in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. It is on Lake St. Clair east of Windsor and had a population of 23,610 at the 2011 census. It is part of the Windsor metropolitan area which is in turn part of the Detroit-Windsor metropolitan area.
Tecumseh enjoys long summers and mild winters. Originally a small Franco-Ontarian settlement with only a church, a school, a post office, a hotel and a general store, Tecumseh is now rapidly growing and offers many restaurants, shopping areas, medical facilities, and has a growing industrial and commercial sector.
Food processing is a major industry in Tecumseh, as Bonduelle owns a food processing plant near the heart of the town. The plant originally was Green Giant 1931 (Fine Foods of Canada) and Pillsbury Company. Green Giant sold in the late 1990s to Family Tradition Foods. Family Traditions sold the food processing plant to Carrière Foods in 2006. Carrière Foods was then purchased in 2007 by Bonduelle.

Christmas Eve 1975 at Guy and Susanna's Place. From the Movie "Heartworn Highways".
Veteran folk singer Steve Earle shared an intimate, seven-song concert with a small group of fans at Minneapolis club Icehouse in June. He shared his stories of Guy Clark, who helped Earle get into the music industry in the 1970s and played a couple songs from his 2019 album – 'Guy' – that pays tribute to his mentor. Earle also played solo acoustic versions of 5 songs throughout his storied career.
Steve Earle has lived through the sort of horrors that have launched a million country songs: addiction, affliction, heartbreak, even prison. He wears them in his voice, but what's most appealing about him is the wide-eyed, unmistakable fearlessness with which he goes about his life these days. The singer, author, actor and activist showcases many of his talents at the NPR Music offices. Set List: "Waitin' On The Sky" "Every Part Of Me" "This City" For more videos, visit npr.org/tinydeskconcerts
Since I was a teenager I dreamed of learning to play the guitar. My parents were not too wealthy and buying an instrument was therefore out of the question, so my dreams remained dreams. Later, when my own son became a musical education teacher and also played the guitar, I started to get the itch again and after my retirement I bought my own guitar and only took lessons with my son with an emphasis on chords and scales. This video gives an idea of what can be achieved after a few lessons and of course practice.
enjoy!

Tecumseh The Last Warrior 1995 Tecumseh The Last Warrior 1995
történelmi dokumentum film, magyar szinkron, 81 perc A film bemutatja a sóni törzsfőnök, Tecumseh és testvére, Tenskwatawa, más néven a Próféta történetét.

"The Master of Life has appointed this place for us to light our fires, and here we shall remain." — Tecumseh (Shawnee)
The letter from Rorke to his son, delivered by Dave. Full Tecumseh Poem: "So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion;respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none. When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and...

You're here, you're gone
I'm still hangin' on
This game ain't nothin' new
You've changed your mind
So many times
But I'm still in love with you
I'll think it over when you're walkin' out the door
Why'd you go and leave me sad and blue
And if you knew
What I go through
You'd think it over too
I hope someday
I'll find a way
I'll walk right out on you
Til that day comes
I'm still the one
If you should need a fool
