Tales of Mystery & Imagination (often rendered as Tales of Mystery and Imagination) is a popular title for posthumous compilations of writings by American author, essayist and poet Edgar Allan Poe and was the first complete collection of his works specifically restricting itself to his suspenseful and related tales.
Background
In 1839, during Poe's lifetime, a collection of his strange tales was published, but it did not include some highly regarded tales which were written later, including "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" and "A Descent into the Maelstrom". The first posthumous collection of Poe's works was compiled in 1850 and included a memoir from Rufus Wilmot Griswold, but this did not confine itself to his tales of suspense and related tales. Several collections of Poe's prose and poetry followed. The precursor to Tales of Mystery and Imagination was a collection of Poe's works entitled Tales of Mystery, Imagination and Humor. The title "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" was first used by "The World's Classics", London, and printed by Grant Richard, 48 Leicester Sq. in 1902. The title of this collection was then adopted by Padraic Colum in 1908 in view of the growing reputation of Poe's taste for suspense, especially in the context of what his French critic M. Brunetiere called events "on the margin" of life. The original collection, in keeping with its title, deliberately excluded Poe's poems, comedies and essays. In his introduction to the 1908 edition Colum cites a reason for his adoption of this selection: his opinion that 'tales' as opposed to 'short stories' were so short that they tended to lack descriptions of socially important experiences. Colum hence also left out two works as too lengthy, these being The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket and "The Unparalleled Adventure of One Hans Pfaall".

Tales of Mystery and Imagination is the second album by Swedishpower metal band Nocturnal Rites, their first on Century Media. It received distribution in Europe in February 1998 after being initially released only in Japan.

Mystery and Imagination is a British television anthology series of classic horror and supernatural dramas. Five series were broadcast from 1966 to 1970 by the ITV network and produced by ABC and (later) Thames Television.
Outline
The series featured Television plays based on the works of well-known authors such as Robert Louis Stevenson, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, M. R. James, and Edgar Allan Poe. All bar one of the first two ABC series starred David Buck as Richard Beckett, originally a character from Sheridan Le Fanu's story "The Flying Dragon", as narrator. Beckett was made the central character of the series, taking the roles of various characters from some of the original stories. The first two series, although transmitted as two separate runs, were recorded in a single production block. The episode without Buck ("The Open Door") features Jack Hawkins in the lead.

Archive status and availability
Only the versions of "The Fall of the House of Usher" and "The Open Door" (series 1) from the ABC era exist in the archives. All the other episodes from the first three series are not known to exist, although the Thames episodes (series 4 and 5) survive. A brief clip from Casting the Runes (from series 3) also exists.
Lee was knighted for services to drama and charity in 2009, received the BAFTA Fellowship in 2011 and received the BFI Fellowship in 2013. Lee considered his best performance to be that of Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the biopic Jinnah (1998), and his best film to be the British horror film The Wicker Man (1973). He frequently appeared opposite Peter Cushing in Hammer Horror films, and late in his career had roles in six Tim Burton films.
Christopher Lee Meng Soon (born 23 July 1971) is a Malaysian Singapore-based actor, host and singer.
Early life
Lee studied up to form 5 in Sekolah Menangah Seri Kota, Air Leleh, Malacca, Malaysia. He was an active student in school, serving as a prefect and representing his school in rugby competitions. He has an older sister and two younger brothers, the youngest being Frederick Lee Meng Chong, who is also an actor and model in Malaysia.
Career
Lee joined TCS (later MediaCorp) on a contract in 1995 after emerging as 1st runner-up in the male category of the Star Search programme in 1995. He worked as a model before becoming an actor. Lee first started acting in Chinese-language television dramas produced by Channel 8.
Chef Lee's career took off when he accepted the sous chef position at seafood restaurant Oceana in New York, under chef Cornelius Gallagher. The restaurant received glowing reviews from The New York Times and The New York Post. Afterward, Chef Lee was recruited by Gotham Bar and Grill's Alfred Portale for the chef de cuisine position at Stephen Starr's remake of the Striped Bass, in Philadelphia. Lee quickly rose to the executive chef position.
In August 2006, Chef Lee moved back to New York to accept the Executive Chef position at Gilt, which earned him international acclaim. The restaurant received four stars from Crain's New York Business, and under Chef Lee's guidance, Gilt also earned its first-ever Michelin 2-star rating.
