"A Milhouse Divided" (the only full episode of The Simpsons Tompkins has written)
Josh Weinstein and Bill Oakley said that, with the exception of George Meyer, Tompkins had contributed more to seasons seven and eight than anyone else on the Simpsons staff. Tompkins wrote the sequence in "Homer's Phobia" where Homer takes Bart to a steel mill that turns out to be a gay dance club. He first pitched that Homer and Bart would encounter longshoremen, but it was too much work to animate the lading of ships, so a steel mill was used instead. Tompkins also wrote a different third act for the episode which was replaced in the final cut. Instead of Homer, Bart, Barney and Moe going deer hunting and ending up at "Santa's Village" they would go back to the steel mill. There, Homer would attempt to prove his heterosexuality by having a human tractor pulling contest with some of the steel mill workers. It was decided that it "didn't really service the story" and was dropped.
Young Vic: Steve Tompkins of Haworth Tompkins and Pricegore discuss the reimagined theatre
In 1970, Howell Killick Partridge Amis (HKPA) designed a theatre for the Young Vic company, an off-shoot of the Old Vic, that would create a new kind of theatre for a new generation - one that was unconventional, classless, open, circus-like and cheap. Arranged around an old butchers shop (a lone survivor of wartime bombing), the new theatre was built at a cost of £60,000 and was only intended to last for just five years. Although becoming one of Europe’s most important producing houses, the building itself had outgrown its informal beginnings. It was now too small, too energy hungry and technically obsolete. In the early 2000s, architects Haworth Tompkins won a competition to significantly expand and rework the site, re-imagining a new theatre grown around the auditorium, adding an enlarg...

Like a father to a son, all that’s mine is always Yours. The stars of heaven mourn for what’s to come. I hear a lover’s song inviting me away. I know the first heart that breaks isn’t mine but Yours. I know now all things they must pass. I know now all things they must pass, oh the cost. How can I ask to know what forgiveness is while my hands are still tied with guilt and the filth of mistrust? My hands have built the cross, oh the cost. My hands have built the cross, oh the cost... How can I ever look into Your eyes when my hands will nail You down? How can I ever look into Your eyes... How can I ask to know what forgiveness is... How can I ask to know what forgiveness is when it’s my hands that built the cross?...that built the cross? How can I... How can I account for this? How can I... How can I just walk away? How can I... How can I... There’s a flame that still lights the gate... lights the gate.
