Pearls of st. Ursula - the everlasting bond.
Some may say that the holiness is an old-fashioned way to tell the story of people who were perfect since their birth, who did not have any doubts or questions and always acted with unfailing wisdom - in reality it is just the opposite: THEY WERE NORMAL! They faced difficulties in their lives and needed to adjust their own plans for life to the circumstances. They had many questions - but this is just a sign of a living relationship with God. May this short journey with st. Ursula (a legendary Saint :) ) assure you that we have much, much in common and encourage you to take holiness as simply as it is.

A FULL FILM about an early British-Romano Saint, Ursula, who is most remembered for undertaking one of the greatest pilgrimages of all time as a condition for entering into marriage with the son of a king. St Ursula's father bequeathed an immense fleet of ships for his daughter who took with her many virgin companions, religious and family as they headed for Jerusalem. She and her companions encountered the Huns who were both awed and alarmed at the great Catholic pilgrimage. Ursula was famed for her great wisdom and holiness. She attempted to enlighten the Huns to the Truths of Christ. When she and her group refused to reject Christianity they were Martyred. St Ursula's relics have been a place of pilgrimage themselves and Cologne Cathedral stands upon the spot of Martyrdom. She is a powerful, interesting and inspiring Saint. This is her story based upon the work of John Ruskin who, like many secular s and Saints after her, greatly admired her courage and Faith.
