Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association tabs six Richland County girls soccer players as All-Ohioans

COLUMBUS — An impressive six 2024 All-Ohio high school girls soccer players call Richland County home.
Ontario's Addi Pittman and Hattie Yugovich, Lexington's Zoe Borowicz, Clear Fork's Melodie Blubaugh, Crestview's Lily Cline and Mansfield Christian's Erin Hope were all named to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association's All-Ohio list.
ALL-DISTRICT SOCCER:Five from Richland County earn District Soccer Player of the Year honors
Blubaugh, the Division IV District Player of the Year, led the Colts to a 13-5-2 record, which included a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference championship and a Division IV district title as she scored 29 goals and handed out 20 assists this season.
Pittman and Yugovich were a dynamic 1-2 punch that helped the Warriors in a Division III district title and go 13-7-1 on the season. Pittman scored 29 goals and handed out 14 assists, while Yugovich added 19 goals and 15 assists as her season ended prematurely with a knee injury.
Borowicz led Lexington to an Ohio Cardinal Conference championship and a Division III district runner-up finish with a 10-8-2 record. She scored nine goals and added four assists while being a force in the middle of the field.
Hope helped start a resurgence in the Mansfield Christian girls soccer program leading the Flames to a 14-2-2 as the senior led the team in scoring and assists.
Cline helped Crestview go 6-7-4 on the season with three goals as she was all over the pitch as a midfielder.
Ontario assistant coach Greg Atkinson was tabbed the Division III Assistant Coach of the Year after he helped the Warriors win the district championship for the first time since 2016.
