UC Davis Health Opens Sacramento’s First Rehab Hospital
UC Davis Health announced the grand opening of a 52-bed rehabilitation hospital on the Sacramento medical center campus. It is the first such freestanding facility in Sacramento County and represents a second fully licensed hospital on the UC Davis Sacramento Campus. The 58,000-square-foot facility more than doubles the inpatient rehabilitation capacity formerly available at UC Davis Medical Center. It is equipped with leading-edge amenities and adaptive units where patients can practice typical activities of daily living. The rehabilitation hospital also includes a 12-bed brain injury unit and four private rooms for bariatric patients.
