Monterosso al Mare is located at the center of a small natural gulf, protected by a small artificial reef, to the east of Punta Mesco in the Riviera of La Spezia. It is the westernmost of the Cinque Terre. In the west part of the original village, beyond the hill of the Capuchins, it is the village of Fegina, natural expansion and characterized by a relatively modern tourist resort facility compared to the ancient village that is reachable through a tunnel of a few tens of meters. A Fegina is located the local train station and the beaches are relatively larger compared to the narrow cliffs that characterize the other villages of the Cinque Terre.
The town is divided into two distinct parts: the old town and the new town. The two areas are divided by a single tunnel that caters to pedestrians and the very few cars in the town.
In most cases, a mare is a female horse over the age of three, and a filly is a female horse age three and younger. In Thoroughbredhorse racing a mare is defined as a female horse more than four years old, but the word can also be used for other female equine animals, particularly mules and zebras, though a female donkey is usually called a "jenny." A broodmare is a mare used for breeding. A horse's female parent is known as its dam.
An uncastrated adult male horse is called a stallion and a castrated male is a gelding. Occasionally the term "horse" is used in a restrictive sense to designate only a male horse.
Reproductive cycle
Mares carry their young (called foals) for approximately 11 months from conception to birth. (Average range 320–370 days.) Usually just one young is born; twins are rare. When a domesticated mare foals, she nurses the foal for at least four to six months before it is weaned, though mares in the wild may allow a foal to nurse for up to a year.
Ciao, and welcome to Monterosso al Mare, home to the absolute best beaches in Cinque Terre. Monterosso is the largest of the 5 towns. In fact, back in the 1948, it was removed from the Cinque Terre trail because it was thought to be too large. It was added back onto the the Cinque Terre list the following year. :) This walk begins on Via Roma in the Old Town. It will take you down to the main Piazza where you will get to see an outdoor market and the Church of San Giovanni Battista. The walk continues along the beach and then up to the Convent of the Capuchin Monks. Finally, you will walk along the lively seafront promenade in the New Town. Put on your headphones to get the best experience of the tour. Thanks for watching!

travel videos & photos at: https://townsofeurope.com/ with text, maps & links.
Monterosso on the north end of the Cinque Terre chain is largest of the five hamlets and makes a good home base because it has 20 hotels, the only sandy beach, excellent restaurants, and the start of the hiking trail.
You arrive by train at Monterosso in the newer section built in the 1970s, then walk through a short tunnel into the Old Town. Right away you see the beautiful beach with the umbrellas spread out before you.
Of course, for the shoppers, there’s always that chance to find the special souvenir or elusive outfit in little, out-of-the-way boutiques that you would never find at home or on the main shopping circuits, so there’s something for everybody here in the Cinque Terre.

Monterosso al Mare | Cinque Terre, Italy Travel Diary
A room with a view overlooking the famous rock in Monterosso was my home for a week on the Cinque Terre last July. The northern most town of the famous five has the only sand (aka painful pebble) beaches, and striking striped umbrellas as far as the eye can see. Next stop, Vernazza!

Tips on How to Save Money and how to make money for your next dream travels
The first aspect is for you to figure out how much money you need to save which depends on where you planning to travel and how much fun you want to have in your travel. Whatever your plans may be: it’s best to have a plan in place.
Create a saving plan which will help you to accumulate money for travel
-Assessment of the cost of your trips
-Set financial goals
-Create a saving plan
-Implement your travel money goals
-Monitor and reassess of your travel money goals
Adhere to your saving plans for your next dream travels
-Saving money is slow but you can do it if you set a goal by
reducing your expenditures, selling some stuff, and earning some extra income.
Start a dedicated travel fund
-You can potentially create your travel savings bank account and save on a monthly or weekly basis even if it's just $10. Make it fun, habit, natural, painless, and Revel its growth over time.
Additional Tips
-Reduce your subscription expenses - you will be surprised how much you could save when you reduce subscriptions such as TV, internet, cellphone: some people pay up to $100 a month for their cable TV which will add up to $1200 a year. That money could fund your next entire trip to lots of places in the world. Besides, there are plenty of free and cheap ways to get entrainment. For example, Netflix is about $10 a month, or Youtube Subscription or prime video subscription on amazon can save you a lot of money.
-Reduce your utility bills
The average utility bill in the US ranges from $90 to $140 a month. If you reduce 15% off your money by doing fewer loads of laundry and conserving energy, you could add around $225 to your savings, annually.
-Invest in Real Estate or other asset classes so that you can potentially have a passive income that allows you to travel.
-build an online business like Amazon FBA, dropshipping, blogging, or your own eCommerce store that will generate you enough money for your travels.
-Reduce the cost of your gym membership
-Save on clothing expenses
Finally, be financially efficient. Watching your friends go out overnight to buy expensive electronics, pricey cocktails, and new boots will make it a little hard to save. Plan your trips: by budgeting both time and money, you will have a wonderful experience in your travels.

Passeggiata tra gli antichi carugi ammirando la facciata gotica della chiesa dedicata a San Giovanni Battista e l'antico oratorio di Santa Croce. Un luogo incantato dove perdersi tra colori e profumo di salsedine.

Tips on How to Save Money and how to make money for your next dream travels
The first aspect is for you to figure out how much money you need to save which depends on where you planning to travel and how much fun you want to have in your travel. Whatever your plans may be: it’s best to have a plan in place.

Monterosso al Mare has numerous small hotels, many restaurants, a beautiful beach and easy access to the hiking trails, train service and ferry boats that unite this wonderful coastal collection of five quaint towns.
