Blais was brought up in Quebec City, where he gained an interest in synthesis and editing techniques from a young age. He later went on to perform in several live bands and compose music for theatre. His interest in dance music began with the acid house movement, particularly UK label Warp Records' releases.
Career
In the early 90s, he started playing live in raves and clubs in Canada. He was then known as “Everything”, because his live sets could range anywhere from techno to house, ambient and even drum and bass. Fred Everything's career as a DJ began in 1993, when he opened for Sasha at the Metropolis club night in Montreal. After building up a reputation in the US and Canada, he moved to Montreal in 1996, where he released many records under various record labels, including 20:20 Vision, with whom he went on to release a total of 20 records, including his widely successful album "Under the Sun" in 2000.
Mile End is a neighbourhood and municipal electoral district in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Mile End is part of the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough in terms of Montreal's municipal politics.
Description
Since the 1980s Mile End has been known for its culture as an artistic neighbourhood, home to artists, musicians, writers, and filmmakers such as Arcade Fire, Adam Gollner, Bran Van 3000, Ariane Moffatt, Grimes, Sean Michaels and Plants and Animals, etc. Many art galleries, designers' workshops, boutiques and cafés are found in the neighbourhood. The comic book company Drawn & Quarterly was founded in the Mile End in 1989, and in 2007 opened up a flagship store on Bernard that is now regarded as the literary hub of the neighbourhood. In 1993 a former Anglican church (south of St. Viateur on Park Ave.) was transformed into the Mile End Library. This opened the door for a community artistic movement that first hosted exhibitions from Images de Femmes in 1994–present, and later a variety of other exhibits. In 1998 the Mile End art gallery and co-op Ame Art were formed with the assistance of the Park YMCA. The computer graphics software house Discreet Logic made a mark on the area by renovating part of an old clothing factory in 1993. In 1997, this space became the new Montreal studios of computer game developer Ubisoft, expanded since to take over the remainder of the building. Mile End became noticeably gentrified during the 1980s and 90s, and rents continue to increase while shops become more upscale – notably the Laurier West strip. These factors have subsequently moved much of the artist community and poorer residents of the Mile End further away from Downtown Montreal to Park Extension and other adjacent neighbourhoods.
Mile End is a district in East London, England, 3.6 miles (5.8km) east-northeast of Charing Cross. On the London to Colchester road, it was one of the earliest suburbs of the City of London and became part of the metropolitan area of London in 1855. In 2011, Mile End had a population of 28,544.
History
Toponymy
Mile End is recorded in 1288 as La Mile ende. It is formed from the Middle English 'mile' and 'ende' and means 'the hamlet a mile away'. The mile distance was in relation to Aldgate in the City of London, reached by the London to Colchester road. In around 1691 Mile End became known as Mile End Old Town because a new unconnected settlement to the west and adjacent to Spitalfields had taken the name Mile End New Town. This data combines the ethnicity data for Mile End's two wards (Mile End And Globe Town and Mile End East).
Beginnings
Whilst there are many references to settlements in the area, excavations have suggested there were very few buildings before 1300.
1885–1918: In this period the constituency was a division of the parliamentary borough of Tower Hamlets in east London. The seat was centred upon the community of Mile End including the Mile End Road, which adjoined the Charrington Brewery. The brewery was headed by Spencer Charrington, MP for the area between 1885 and 1904.
Before 1885 the division was administered as part of the county of Middlesex. It formed part of The Metropolis from 1855 to 1889. In 1889 there was a change in the administrative arrangements covering the constituency, with the creation of the County of London. In 1900 London was divided into Metropolitan Boroughs. The Mile End Old Town Parish Vestry was abolished, with Mile End becoming part of the Metropolitan Borough of Stepney.
Pierre Johnson - Like Home Interlude [Feat. Jazzuelle] (Official Audio)
The ever-seminal examination of the SA house scene, ‘Mzansi House’, is back with an essential eighth edition.
As usual, it’s a bumper 4-disc collection that shines a spotlight on Mzansi’s most promising young producers – this time around, Pierre Johnson, Fka Mash, Sean Munnick, and Brewed Souls.
Pierre Johnson is a deep house producer/DJ based in Cape Town who’s been plying his trade since he hit his teens. His mix, subtitled ‘Outsiders’, has features from Jazzuelle, Chris Jay, and Lazarusman, and showcases his trademark easygoing electronic style, with dreamy keyboard washes, jazzy flourishes and occasional vocals riding considered beats and deep basslines. It also contains the track “CURE”, already a major hit on radio and in the clubs.

Something is happening inside of me
Forming in the center and slowly migrating to a thinner layer of skin
Precipitating to my surroundings
There's absolutely nothing all the direction has been obliterated
And in it's place hope has been reinstated
And I find breathing is over rated the reproduction of cells futile
Ending at a funeral I'll get married and go senile

LYRICS:
[Brooks Intro]
Something is happening inside of me
Forming in the center and slowly migrating to a thinner layer of skin
Precipitating to my surroundings
There's absolutely nothing all the direction has been obliterated
And in it's place hope has been reinstated
And I find breathing is over rated the reproduction of cells futile
Ending at a funeral I'll get married and go senile
Just wait a while you think no this will never pass
Hiding until it has and we a just above all man
Stand to deliver a message in my head
Your life is neither sacred or worthless
In the grand scheme of things each of us has a got no purpose.
[Steaknife]
After new mourning in mornings inhaling fresh air with nicotine
I staring aware I don't care what my reason here means
Everything is shady so I'm lazy and motivation erasing every ideal
Advance creative expectations so what why warm feelings of black from blue
I'm comfortable in my mind state every degrading you
The drama of understanding is like being in your fathers mind
When you sexually molest your sister one too many times
Or like being in your mothers mind when shes popping barbiturates
And places you baby brother in a dumpster dead from being all autistic
Yeah I'm gifted grateful thankful for being in a sick cold waning world
I'm strangling beating the sick or fucking you girl
Your sadness is my happiness overwhelming my stress
Beating myself in the chest to please cardiac arrest no presence
Mainlining with a used syringe on heroin binge to find joy
The brightest thing I even seen was a flame liquefying foil
[Hook Brooks Buford]
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea

[Brooks Buford]
My agitated sadness is equal to witnessing my wife getting bottle fucked on my mothers mattress
Life's an actress with diabolical tactics I ran my head into the mirror for the fifty time
Vomiting gin and lime scented formaldehyde shitting where I dine
Cutting my coke line with strychnine flyer than 80 miles up to the stop sign
Body parts in a box setting a brush fire in Charlotte's web
Drinking a head and soon as I break out from a medium and whats done is said
Tired of choking with the filthiness of dead pussy in Hobokin transit the hell
Purchase a token bodies floating rivers are red famine and natural catastrophes
A flask full of stomach disease at four degrees colder than sterilization
I stare while mama birthed a Satan in the dark angel ladies awaiting
Rejoicing hating anomalies brothers and sisters mating
Orgies from Oregon to the oracle at the Pentagon

[Danny Boone]
Fuck people and opinions it drains my energy
I care about me exclusively no apologies or excess baggage
Could damage or slow my pursuit of max potential
Sick of advice clogging my noggin finding selfishness essential
I snap like a pencil past pissed pushing psychotic fist through sheet rock
Why the boundaries no more conscience attacks
At me to be nonsense in fact no more respect fuck what you feel
Far as I know my thoughts and visions are the only things real
I'm not an extra in a movie 'bout everyone else
I got a thousand fuck yous to hand out it's time to hit below the belt
And back stab with violent aggression and spit in fucking faces
I have no aces my tongue is tasteless slit wrists with razors
Nah I'd rather be a burden curtain on your ideals
I'm not taking it I'm taking shit fuck patience
Nobody gives a fuck about you that the revelation

Michael Jackson's short film for "You Rock My World" was one of two short films produced for recordings from Invincible, Michael's sixth album as an adult solo performer. As a single, "You Rock My World" was a No. 1 hit in France, Spain Portugal, Poland and Romania, and reached the Top 10 in another 16 countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy and Australia. In the United States, the single reached the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100 (his 28th career Top 10 single in America), Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles, Mainstream Top 40 and Rhythmic Top 40-marking Michael's fourth consecutive decade with a Top 10 hit since the 1970s.

Michael briefly encounters the club's boss (Brando) before escaping with Chris and the girl.
The "You Rock My World" short film won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Music Video in 2002.

You have absolutely no...
[Hook Brooks Buford]
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...
[Hook Brooks Buford]
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...idea
You have absolutely no idea
You have absolutely no...

We didn't have no where to live, / we didn't have nowhere to go 'til someone said / "I know this place off Burditt Road." It was on the fifteenth floor, / it had a board across the door. It took an hour / to pry it off and get inside. / It smelt as if someone had died; the living-room was full of flies, / the kitchen sink was blocked, the bathroom sink not there at all. / Ooh, / it's a mess alright, / yes it's Mile End. / And now we're living in the sky! / I'd never thought I'd live so high, / just like Heaven / (if it didn't look like Hell.) The lift is always full of piss, / the fifth floor landing smells of fish (not just on Friday, / every single other day.) Below the kids come out tonight, / they kick a ball and have a fight and maybe shoot somebody if they lose at pool. Ooh, / it's a mess alright, / yes it's / Mile End. Oo-ooh / Nobody wants to be your friend 'cause you're not from round here, / ooh / as if that was something to be proud about. / The pearly king of the Isle of Dogs feels up children in the bogs. / Down by the playing fields, someone sets a car on fire I guess you have to go right down before you understand just how, / how low, how low a human being can go. / Ooh, / it's a mess alright, / yes it's Mile End. / (don't do that! Leave it out!) / Bababa...
