Route 16 is an east–west state highway in Massachusetts. It begins in the west at an intersection with Route 12 and Route 193 in Webster, just north of the Connecticut state border. It runs in a generally southwest-northeast routing through a number of Boston's suburbs and runs to the west and then north of the city before ending in Revere at an intersection with Route 1A and Route 60.
From the western end of the Route 135 concurrency in Wellesley to Route 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) in Newton, the route serves as a part of the Boston Marathon, from the halfway point to just before Mile 18 and the hills.
A racing game where the main character is the greed. Several cars battle each other on maze-like rooms trying to get the money bags and avoiding the dangers. In this game, everybody cares just about the money, showing that the money is the "route" of all evil.
Gameplay
The player controls a car which must explore a maze divided into sixteen rooms. He or she must get all the money bags while avoiding the opposite cars and trying not to run out of fuel. Every time the player goes out of a room, a map is shown, indicating the position of every car and all the money bags. There are also flags that can be driven over to invert the roles, so the player can crash the opposite cars and stop them for a few seconds, while getting bonus points.
Route-16 Turbo
Route-16 Turbo(ルート16ターボ,Rūto 16 Tābo) is an improved version of Route-16. It is also the Famicom port, which was developed and published on October 4, 1985 by Sunsoft only in Japan. This game features four swastikas in one of the rooms; in Japan this symbol does not carry the same negative connotations it has in the West.
NH 16 is the main road connecting the Seacoast region to the Lakes Region and the White Mountains. The section north of the Spaulding Turnpike is called the White Mountain Highway.
From Milton, NH 16 continues north, roughly paralleling the Maine border. In Wakefield, the road takes a turn to the northwest heading towards Ossipee. NH 16 turns back to a northerly heading near Tamworth, then makes a turn eastward in Albany to reach Conway. NH 16 turns north again in Conway, entering the region known as the Mount Washington Valley, and begins a concurrency with US 302 at the south end of the village of North Conway. North of North Conway, in Bartlett, the southern NH 16A loop departs and rejoins NH 16 / US 302 before the road makes a westward hook.

"Massachusetts (Because of You Our Land is Free)," words and music by Bernard Davidson, was made the official patriotic song of Massachusetts on October 23, 1989.
The Massachusett language is an Algonquian language of the Algic language family, formerly spoken by several tribes inhabiting coastal regions of Massachusetts, including Cape Cod and the Islands. It was also commonly referred to as the Natick, Wômpanâak (Wampanoag), Pokanoket, or Indian language. The language was used by John Eliot to print the first Bible in the Americas in 1663. The adoption of the orthography of the Bible led to widespread literacy amongst the indigenous peoples of southern New England. The language went extinct in the late 19th century, but is currently being revived by Wampanoag tribal member Jessie Little Doe Baird, who started work on the Wômpanâak Language Reclamation Project in 1993. Classes for learners have been set up in four Wampanoag communities, and a handful of native speakers are now growing up in the language. An immersion charter school is set to open in 2015, with Wampanoag as the language of instruction for core subjects. As the school is a charter school, it will be available to both tribal and non-tribal citizens of regional Massachusetts.

The Midstate Trail | Route 16 in Douglas to the Rhode Island Border | Hiking Massachusetts
Around the end of August I was trying to stay local with a newborn on the way and figured I'd try hiking some more of the the Massachusetts Midstate Trail. The Midstate Trail connects the North South Trail in Rhode Island to the Wapack Trail in New Hampshire. While I've hiked the sections around Wachusett, Watatic, and Crow Hill Ledges before I haven't checked much else of it out. This was a nice out and back from Route 16 in Douglas through the Douglas State Forest to the Rhode Island border in Pascoag/Burriville. I ended up trail running some it to get back to my car before sunset. While nothing like mountain hiking it was an enjoyable trek in the woods and I can imagine it would be great for snowshoeing in the winter and beautiful during foliage in the Fall.

It runs in a generally southwest-northeast routing through a number of Boston's suburbs and runs to the west and then north of the city before ending in Revere at an intersection with Route 1A and Route 60.
Much of Route 16 east of the Newton-Wellesley town line, and especially from Cambridge eastward, is a multi-lane parkway, although it is not limited access for any significant length of road. Segments of Route 16 are also known as the Mystic Valley Parkway, the Alewife Brook Parkway, and the Revere Beach Parkway, among other names.
From the western end of the Route 135 concurrency in Wellesley to Route 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) in Newton, the route serves as a part of the Boston Marathon, from the halfway point to just before Mile 18 and the hills.
Route 16 runs north and west of the City of Boston, beginning at the Atlantic Ocean at Revere Beach, where it intersects with Route 1A and 60 at Timothy J. Mahoney Circle in Revere.
The route proceeds west by a winding path through several mixed-used industrial, commercial, and residential areas in the cities of Everett and Malden until it intersects Interstate 93 in Medford. It then veers north, traveling beside the Mystic River upstream, and passing near Medford Square, the downtown area of that city. This portion of Route 16 is also part of the Mystic Valley Parkway.
The Mystic Valley Parkway continues west as Route 16 turns south in Somerville on Alewife Brook Parkway. This section of Route 16 soon joins U.S. Highway 3 and then Route 2 at the eastern end of the freeway portion of the Concord Turnpike. From there, Route 16 passes the large parking garage at the MBTA Alewife Station, passes by Fresh Pond, eventually leaving Routes 2 and 3 as they continue along Fresh Pond Parkway. It then continues west through Cambridge, passing by Mount Auburn Cemetery before entering Watertown. Route 16 crosses U.S. Highway 20 in Watertown Square, and then crosses the Charles River. It enters Newton near the village of Nonantum, and eventually crosses I-90, the Massachusetts Turnpike, in West Newton; Pike Exit 16 here provides access to and from the east only. Still in Newton, Route 16 then crosses Route 30 and Route 128 (Interstate 95).

Around the end of August I was trying to stay local with a newborn on the way and figured I'd try hiking some more of the the Massachusetts Midstate Trail.
