Loggins and Messina is an Americanrock-pop duo consisting of Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina who achieved their success in the early to mid-1970s. Among their well-known songs are "Danny's Song", "House at Pooh Corner", and "Your Mama Don't Dance". After selling more than 16 million records and becoming one of the leading musical duos of the 1970s, Loggins and Messina broke up in 1976. Although Messina would find only limited popularity following the breakup, Loggins went on to be a 1980s hitmaker. In 2005 and again in 2009, Loggins and Messina have rejoined for tours in the United States.
The two recorded a number of Loggins' compositions in Messina's home living room. When Columbia signed Loggins to a six-album contract (with the assistance of Messina), recording began in earnest for Loggins' debut album, with Messina as producer. Messina originally intended to lend his name to the Loggins project only to help introduce the unknown Loggins to Messina's well-established Buffalo Springfield and Poco audiences. But by the time the album was completed, Messina had contributed so much to the album - in terms of songwriting, arrangement, instrumentation, and vocals - that an "accidental" duo was born.
Messina (/məˈsiːnə/; Italian pronunciation:[mesˈsiːna], Sicilian: Missina; Latin:Messana, Greek:Μεσσήνη) is the capital of the Italian province of Messina. It is the 3rd largest city on the island of Sicily, and the 13th largest city in Italy, with a population of more than 252,000 inhabitants in the city proper and about 650,000 in the province. It is located near the northeast corner of Sicily, at the Strait of Messina, opposite Villa San Giovanni on the mainland, and has close ties with Reggio Calabria.
The city's main resources are its seaports (commercial and military shipyards), cruise tourism, commerce, and agriculture (wine production and cultivating lemons, oranges, mandarin oranges, and olives). The city has been a Roman CatholicArchdiocese and Archimandrite seat since 1548 and is home to a locally important international fair. The city has the University of Messina, founded in 1548 by Ignatius of Loyola.
Messina has a light rail system, Tranvia di Messina, that was opened on 3 April 2003. This line is 7.7 kilometres (4.8mi) and links the city's central railway station with the city centre and harbour.
Messina is a 2012 triple album by French singer-songwriter Damien Saez. Each CD was named separately with CD 1 named "Les Échoués", CD 2 "Sur les quais" and CD 3 "Messine". The full set was titled Messina (with an a). the set was released on 17 September 2012. on Wagram Records.
The triple album was not the first by Saez as he had released in 2008 the triple album titled Varsovie - L'Alhambra - Paris. Messina is the name of a Sicilian city of particular significance for Saez. And similar to the Varsovie - L'Alhambra - Paris album, this triple album carries many geographical references and to personalities.
On 29 August 2012, two titles from the album "Betty" and "Les fils d'Artaud" were made available for free downloading. On 16 September 2012, a third track "Messine" was offered free online. Two tracks, "Marie" and "Petite Couturière" were included on album despite being much older recordings.

Lyrics:
Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the wood, so
Help me if you can, I've got to get
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky (chase the clouds away)
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a hunny jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
From here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear
Help me if you can, I've got to get
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky (chase the clouds away)
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him, I kissed him
And as I was going
I swear that old bear
Whispered, boy welcome home
Believe me if you can I've finally come
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know, there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky (chase the clouds away)
Back to the days of Christopher Robin (back to the days)
