Series and Parallel Circuits | Electricity | Physics | FuseSchool
There are two main types of electrical circuit: series and parallel.
In a series circuit the components are connected end-to-end, one after the other. They make a simple loop for the current to flow round.
In a parallel circuit the components are connected side by side, so the current divides, some going one way and the rest the other way.

ELECTRICITY for kids ⚡ Episode 3 💡 Create a Circuit 🔌 Conductive Materials and Insulating Materials
Educational video for children to learn how to create an electrical circuit, which materials conduct electricity and which ones insulate it. In this video children will be able to create their own circuit with just a couple of wires, a light bulb and a battery. Also, they will learn about electric conductors, such as metal or water, which allow electric charges to pass through them. However, materials such as rubber are insulators, i.e. they do not allow electric charges to circulate.
Thanks to our science videos, children can learn a lot of things while having fun. This video is an excellent resource for elementary education.
