As such, Jürgen Klopp moved quickly to snap him up in the summer of 2017, bolstering his squad ahead of a return to the Champions League.
Robertson said of the move: “My family are proud of what I’ve achieved so far and they’re all over the moon with the move, as well as me of course. We’re all just looking forward to being part of the Liverpool family now.
“There’s not many, if any, more special clubs than Liverpool. When you grow up as a kid you dream of playing with big clubs such as Liverpool and to make that a reality is a dream come true for me.
“I just want to prove to people that I can do it at this level, and hopefully I manage to do that this season and go on to do good things for this club.”
Robertson proved a popular hit amongst Kopites with his superb raids up and down the left flank and he made 30 appearances during his debut campaign at Anfield.
And on January 17, 2019, supporters were left delighted when it was announced he'd signed a new long-term deal with the club.

This article is about the men's professional football team. For the women's team associated to the same club, see Manchester United W.F.C. For the independent club established by supporters, see F.C. United of Manchester.Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United (often stylised as Man Utd), or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football. Nicknamed the Red Devils, they were founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, but changed their name to Manchester United in 1902. After a spell playing in Clayton, Manchester, the club moved to their current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.
Domestically, Manchester United have won a record 20 top-flight league titles, 13 FA Cups, 6 League Cups and a record 21 FA Community Shields. Additionally, in international football, they have won the European Cup/UEFA Champions League three times, and the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup once each.[6][7] In 1968, under the management of Matt Busby, 10 years after eight of the club's players were killed in the Munich air disaster, they became the first English club to win the European Cup. Sir Alex Ferguson is the club's longest-serving and most successful manager, winning 38 trophies, including 13 league titles, five FA Cups, and two Champions League titles between 1986 and 2013.[8][9] In the 1998–99 season, under Ferguson, the club became the first in the history of English football to achieve the continental treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.[10] In winning the UEFA Europa League under José Mourinho in 2016–17, they became one of five clubs to have won the original three main UEFA club competitions (the Champions League, Europa League and Cup Winners' Cup). They have won the Premier League three years in a row twice; for the first 21 years of the Premier League they came 1st (13), 2nd (5) or 3rd (3).Manchester United is one of the most widely supported football clubs in the world[11][12] and has rivalries with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Leeds United. Manchester United was the highest-earning football club in the world for 2016–17, with an annual revenue of €676.3 million,[13] and the world's third-most-valuable football club in 2019, valued at £3.15 billion ($3.81 billion).[14] After being floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1991, the club was taken private in 2005 after a purchase by American businessman Malcolm Glazer valued at almost £800 million, of which over £500 million of borrowed money became the club's debt.[15] From 2012, some shares of the club were listed on the New York Stock Exchange, although the Glazer family retains overall ownership and control of the club.Manchester United was formed in 1878 as Newton Heath LYR Football Club by the Carriage and Wagon department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (LYR) depot at Newton Heath.[16] The team initially played games against other departments and railway companies, but on 20 November 1880, they competed in their first recorded match; wearing the colours of the railway company – green and gold – they were defeated 6–0 by Bolton Wanderers' reserve team.[17] By 1888, the club had become a founding member of The Combination, a regional football league. Following the league's dissolution after only one season, Newton Heath joined the newly formed 'Football Alliance', which ran for three seasons before being merged with The Football League. This resulted in the club starting the 1892–93 season in the First Division, by which time it had become independent of the railway company and dropped the "LYR" from its name.[16] After two seasons, the club was relegated to the Second Division.[16]

Mohamed Salah - Speed ● Skills ● Goals - 2016/17 - AS Roma
► Mohamed Salah Ghaly (Arabic: محمد صلاح غالي, translit. Muḥammad Ṣalāḥ Ghālī; born 15 June 1992) is an Egyptian professional footballer, who plays for Italian club Roma and the Egypt national team as a winger.
As well as representing the Egyptian national team since 2011, he also participated in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2012 Summer Olympics. He won the Swiss Super League in his first season with Basel, and was awarded the CAF Most Promising African Talent of the Year in 2012.[3] In 2013, he was awarded the SAFP Golden Player award for being the best player in the Swiss Super League.
On 3 August 2016, Roma made the deal permanent for a reported €15 million. On November 6 2016, Salah scored a hat-trick at the Stadio Olimpico as Roma won 3-0 vs Bologna, bringing his goal tally in the Serie A to 8 in just 12 matches.

Mohamed Salah Ghaly (Arabic: محمد صلاح غالى Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [mæˈħam.mæd sˤɑˈlɑːħ ˈɣæːli]; born 15 June 1992) is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a forward for English club Liverpool and the Egyptian national team.
Salah started his senior career with hometown club El Mokawloon in the Egyptian Premier League in 2010, departing shortly thereafter to join Basel for an undisclosed fee. In Switzerland, he starred as he won the league title in his debut season, winning the SAFP Golden Player Award in the process. Salah's performances then attracted Premier League side Chelsea, and subsequently signed for the team for a £11 million fee in 2014. However, he was used sparingly in his debut season, and was allowed to leave on loan to Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Roma, with the latter eventually signing him permanently for €15 million.
Following consistent match-winning performances in Rome to lead them to second-placed finish and a record points-tally in 2017, Salah relocated back to the Premier League to sign for Liverpool for a then club-record fee of £36.9 million. During his second spell in England, Salah adapted his game from a natural winger to a complete forward, and quickly became the focal point of the team. He would go on to break the club's scoring record for a debut season, as well as becoming the first player ever to win three Premier League Player of the Month awards in the same season. He would further go onto be named in the 2017–18 PFA Team of the Year and as the 2017–18 PFA Players' Player of the Year, PFA Fans' Player of the Year, Football Writers' Player of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season, while also being the recipient of the Premier League Golden Boot after registering a record 32 goals in 36 league games.
At international level, Salah represented Egypt at youth level, winning a bronze medal in the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, and participated in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was awarded the CAF Most Promising African Talent of the Year in 2012.[6] Making his debut with the senior national team in 2011, he helped Egypt reach the final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, and he became the top scorer during CAF qualification to help the team qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. For his performances, Salah was named CAF African Footballer of the Year and the BBC African Footballer of the Year.[7][8] He was also selected in the CAF Team of the Year and Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament.
Personal life
Mohammed Salah married Maggi in 2013. Their daughter, Makka, born in 2014[98] is named in honor of the Islamic holy city.[9] Salah is Muslim and often celebrates goals by performing the sujood.[99] Liverpool fans created a chant to the tune of Dodgy's "Good Enough", saying that if Salah continued to score goals, they would convert to Islam. Salah gave his approval to the chant, and it has been cited as an example of inclusivity.[100] While Salah is devout to a degree that many other well-known Muslims sports figures are not (his wife wears a veil[9], for example), his charm and apolitical persona have made him a popular figure in Britain.[101]
Salah is nicknamed "The Pharaoh" by the press and his fans.[102][103][104] More recently, Salah was given the nickname "Egyptian King" by Liverpool supporters,[105][106] arising from a chant set to the tune of "Sit Down" by English band James.[107]

In the 2016–17 season, Salah was a key figure in Roma's unsuccessful title bid, reaching double figures in both goals and assists.[19]
In 2017, Salah signed for Liverpool for a then-club record transfer of £36.9 million. FIFA is a series of association football video games developed and released annually by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label. As of 2011, the FIFA franchise has been localised into 18 languages and available in 51 countries.[5] Listed in Guinness World Records as the best-selling sports video game franchise in the world, the FIFA series has sold over 325 million copies as of 2021.[6] It is also one of the best-selling video game franchises.[7]
Football video games such as Tehkan World Cup, Sensible Soccer, Kick Off and Match Day had been developed since the late 1980s, and were already competitive in the games market when EA Sports announced a football game as the next addition to their EA Sports label. When the series began with FIFA International Soccer on the Sega Mega Drive in late 1993, it was notable for being the first to have an official license from FIFA, the world governing body of football. The main series has been complemented by additional installments based on single major tournaments, such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA European Football Championship, as well as a series of football management titles. Since the 1990s, the franchise's main competitor has been Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) series.
As of FIFA 21, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé is the face of the franchise, appearing on the front cover of the series and in promotional campaigns and advertisements. He takes over from Eden Hazard of Real Madrid who was the face of the previous cover. Lionel Messi appeared on four straight covers from FIFA 13 to FIFA 16. Wayne Rooney has appeared in the most covers being on the cover of every game from FIFA 06 to FIFA 12. Since the release of FIFA Mobile in 2016, forward Marco Reus, Eden Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Paulo Dybala, and Kylian Mbappé have appeared on the cover.[8]
FIFA 12 holds the record for the "fastest selling sports game ever" with over 3.2 million games sold and over $186 million generated at retail in its first week of release.[9] The franchise's latest release, FIFA 21, has been released worldwide on 9 October 2020. It is available for multiple gaming systems, including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and on PC. An enhanced version of the game has been released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Stadia at a later stage.
