Kali (Hanna Weynerowska, born Hanna Gordziałkowska; 18 December 1918 – 20 June 1998) was a Polish-born American painter known for her stylized portraits. She has been described as one of the most important Polish female painters. She was a World War II veteran of the Polish Resistance Movement after Nazi Germany occupied Poland, when she used the nom de guerreKali. After emigrating and marrying, she used many variants of name, including "Hanna Kali Weynerowski", "Hanna Weynerowski-Kali", "Hanna Gordziałkowski-Weynerowski", "Hanka Weynerowska", and "Hanna Gordziałkowski", but she signed her paintings Kali.
Work
The figures in her art resemble Old Masters in subject and positioning, but are painted in a simplified, flattened and more graphic manner. The paintings are brightly colored, often portraying the subject shown sitting at bust-length, with an elongated face, flattened body, a patterned element such as part of the clothing, and with the subject's hands positioned in a classical pose. Her work has been likened to a combination of Neo-mannerist and Surrealist.
Kali is an IPX network emulator for DOS and Windows, enabling legacy multiplayer games to work over a modern TCP/IP network such as the Internet. Later versions of the software also functioned as a server browser for games that natively supported TCP/IP. Versions were also created for OS2 and Mac, but neither version was well polished. Today, Kali's network is still operational but development has largely ceased.
The Kali software is free to download, but has a time-based cap for unregistered versions. For a one-time $20 fee the time restriction is removed.
History
The original MS-DOS version of Kali was created by Scott Coleman and Jay Cotton in the spring of 1995. It was the successor to a program called iDOOM (later iFrag) that Scott wrote so he could play id Software's DOS game DOOM over the Internet. After the release of Descent, Scott and Jay wrote a new program to allow Descent, or any other game which supported LAN play using the IPX protocol, to be played over the Internet; this new program was named Kali. In the summer of 1995, Scott went off to work for Interplay Productions and Jay formed a new company, Kali Inc., to develop and market Kali. Jay and his team developed the first Windows version (Kali95) and all subsequent versions.

plot
The story is about a scientist who stays at Kollimalai Hills to find ways and means to tackle the rocks that are to fall from moon and destroy the earth. The problems that he encounters in his mission forms the crux. It is a convoluted story that makes you to leave reasoning and logic in cold storage.
Nasser as usual is good at his role. Swarnamalya gets an opportunity to show her acting talent. Unfortunately Richard, who had a good outing in Naalai recently just plays a second fiddle. Charuhaasan has nothing much to do.
Karma is a popular Pakistani fashion label started by designers Kamiar Rokni and Maheen Ali in 2001. Karma is recognized as one of the rare Pakistani labels that has introduced Western-style garments, such as cocktail dresses and evening gowns, to the Pakistan.
Karma currently operates three lines of clothing: formal, bridal, and ready-to-wear. Karma Couture, the company's first line, is a made-to-order formal clothing label, with prices starting from Rs. 18,000 (approx. $300 USD). Karma Wedding is the label's bridal line, starting at Rs. 50,000 (approx. $800 USD). Production
The female lead Devika Rani, the grand niece of Nobel laureateRabindranath Tagore was professionally associated with Rai even before the two married in 1929. Impressed by her talent, Rai decided to cast her in the film alongside him. Abraham Sofaer was cast in a pivotal role as a "Holy Man". The screenplay was co-written by Rai and Freer Hunt. The music was composed by German composer Ernst Broadhurst. Devika Rani had recorded a song in the film including the Hindi version.
Karma, an "Indo-German-British" collaboration, was released two years after the Alam Ara (1931), the first Indian talkie. Karma was made targeting the international audience. The film was entirely shot in India while the post-production process was carried out in Stoll Studios, London. The film was the first talkie produced by Rai.
