Jerrald King "Jerry" Goldsmith (February 10, 1929 – July 21, 2004) was an American composer and conductor most known for his work in film and television scoring. He composed scores for such noteworthy films as The Sand Pebbles, Logan's Run, Planet of the Apes, Patton, Papillon, Chinatown, The Wind and the Lion, The Omen, The Boys from Brazil, Alien, Poltergeist, The Secret of NIMH, Gremlins, Hoosiers, Total Recall, Basic Instinct, Rudy, Air Force One, L.A. Confidential, Mulan, The Mummy, three Rambo films, and five Star Trek films. He collaborated with some of film history's most prolific directors, including Robert Wise, Howard Hawks, Otto Preminger, Joe Dante, Roman Polanski, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, Paul Verhoeven, and Franklin J. Schaffner. Goldsmith was nominated for six Grammy Awards, five Primetime Emmy Awards, nine Golden Globe Awards, four British Academy Film Awards, and eighteen Academy Awards. In 1976, he was awarded an Academy Award for The Omen.
In Harm's Way is a 1965 American epic war film produced and directed by Otto Preminger and starring John Wayne, Kirk Douglas, Patricia Neal, Tom Tryon, Paula Prentiss, Stanley Holloway, Burgess Meredith, Brandon deWilde, Jill Haworth, Dana Andrews, and Henry Fonda.
It was one of the last black-and-white World War II epics, and the last black-and-white John Wayne film. It has had a mixed response over the years as a war film that had a simple story, a charge also leveled against Preminger's other later movies. The screenplay was written by Wendell Mayes, based on the novel Harm's Way, by James Bassett.
The film recounts the lives of several US naval officers and their wives or lovers while based in Hawaii as the US involvement in World War II begins. The title of the film comes from a quote from an American Revolutionary naval hero:
The film presents a relatively unromantic and realistic picture of the American Navy and its officers from the night of December 6, 1941 through the first year of the US involvement in World War II, complete with bureaucratic infighting among the brass and sometimes disreputable private acts by individuals. Its sprawling narrative is typical of Preminger's works in which he examined institutions and the people who run them, such as the American Congress and the Presidency in Advise and Consent, the Catholic Church in The Cardinal and the British Intelligence Service in The Human Factor.
In Harm's Way is a one-hour American reality television series on The CW that looked at the lives of people who do dangerous jobs. Each unscripted episode followed the individuals who risk their lives in life-threatening jobs, including war photographers, oil well cappers, the Alaskan Coast Guard, bicycle messengers in Boston and minesweepers. The show was hosted by a former US Navy fighter pilot, Hunter Ellis.
The first episode was broadcast on October 5, 2008, at 7 pm Eastern time. The season averaged 0.69 million viewers and 0.2 of adults 18-49.
It was cancelled after just five episodes, along with the other MRC-produced series, and was replaced by re-runs of Jericho, with three produced episodes unshown.
The Walking Dead: Season Two is an episodic interactive drama graphic adventure based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series developed by Telltale Games. It is the sequel to The Walking Dead, with the episodes released between December 2013 and August 2014, and a retail collector's disc edition planned at the conclusion of the season. The game employs the same narrative structure as the first season, where player choice in one episode will have a permanent impact on future story elements. The player choices recorded in save files from the first season and the additional episode 400 Days carry over into the second season.Clementine, who was the player's companion during the first season, is the player-character in Season Two.
Skybound has announced that a third season, a full sequel to Season Two, is being developed.
Harm's Way or In Harm's Way may refer to:
Harm's Way is a 1962 war novel by James Bassett.
The explanation for the title, was, according to Bassett: "I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm's way."—attributed to John Paul Jones
A regular Naval officer in the Pacific theater is assigned to command an operation to seize a group of strategic islands from the Japanese.
The attack on Pearl Harbor catches the United States Navy unawares. They include Captain Rockwell Torrey, commanding a heavy cruiser known only as Old Swayback (an obvious reference to the USS Salt Lake City (CA-25), which is off the Hawaiian coast near Pearl Harbor, running another set of exercises in a long string of them.
Lieutenant (junior grade) William "Mac" McConnell is assigned as Officer of the Day aboard the destroyer, USS Cassiday, tied up in a shallower channel of Pearl Harbor, not all that far from Battleship Row. When the attack comes, Lieutenant McConnell takes his ship out of the harbor, leaving his captain and executive officer behind, and eventually joins a scratch task group assembled around Torrey's cruiser. Torrey leads his task group on a seek-out-and-destroy mission. When the ships approach the end of their fuel, Torrey orders them to steer a straight course. That makes the group vulnerable to attack. A Japanese sub scores two torpedo hits on Old Swayback before Cassiday can sink the sub with depth charges.
"Harm's Way" is episode 9 of season 5 in the television show Angel.
Harmony goes through her daily routine of getting up, leaving her small, but comfortable apartment, and going to work at Wolfram and Hart. Despite still being evil, she’s a lonely vamp dealing with being snubbed by her co-workers, and ignored by Angel and everyone else because of her past and continuing problems with the occupation of being not only a secretary, but a vampire too. She needs her pay check or otherwise she can't stay in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Angel and Gunn attempt to keep the peace between two demon tribes, before they decide to slaughter each other. Things change when Harmony, after an evening out with a one-night stand, wakes up next to the dead body of the man who happens to be the mediator for the peace negotiations and all evidence points to her. Having disposed of the body, Harmony must keep one step ahead of Fred and the others who are looking for the culprit in an attempt to prove she was not the killer.

We gave our hearts
We gave it all
Flame in the fire
Burns forevermore
The sorrow in believing
Honor and truth
Gray spires climbing
Wrapped around our youth
CHORUS:
Peace in our life
Remember the call
Oh, a cheer for my brothers
Think of them all
Home of the brave
We'll never fall
The strength of our nation
Belongs to us all.
Time is the healing
of souls laid to rest
Peace is the virtue
Never forget
Tomorrow's an angel
Watching us all
Telling the people
she wraps around our hearts
CHORUS (x3)
