James Conway is an Irish-American musician based in Chicago, Illinois, and is particularly known for playing traditional Irish music on the harmonica and tin whistle. He also plays guitar, bodhran, and plays folk and country blues music.Jason Ricci said of Conway's playing, "This guy is the king of tongue switching (playing out of both sides of your mouth) – his octave leaps, effortless complex melodies, and chords are mind melting to the harmonica player while natural to the listener."
In 2003, Conway was the recipient of a "master artist" grant from the Illinois Arts Council to teach Irish tin whistle as part of the Ethnic & Folk Arts Master/Apprentice Program. The Hohner company has also recognized Conway's expertise; he is a Hohner harmonica endorser.
He was first called up to the Derry Seniorpanel by then-manager Eamonn Coleman in late 2000 ahead of the 2000/2001 National Football League. He was instrumental in Derry winning the 2008 National League, where Derry beat Kerry in the final. He however could not play in the final due to a work related injury.
Club
Conway struggled to make both the Ballinderry and school (St. Pat's, Maghera) team at underage level, even being forced to play as goalkeeper as a couple of seasons around Under 16 level for Ballinderry. He however made the Ballinderry senior panel when he was 17. He won his first Derry Senior Football Championship in 2001 and Ballinderry went on to win that year's Ulster Senior Club Football Championship, and the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship the following March. He has won further Derry Championship medals with the club in 2002, 2006 and 2008.
"We have seen it in some instances, ... It's spotty."
"If you look at it from the insurgents' perspective, they know our history, just like we study them,"
"There are reports that these people are in uniforms, in some cases are wearing protective vests, and there's some suspicion that their training exceeds that of what we have seen with other engagements further east,"
"It's the only tool the enemy really has left in order to be able to take us on and cause casualties, ... And when we defeat that one method, it's over."
"Right now, we're just short of 160,000, ... That's sort of the baseline figure that we think we'll probably see all through the election period."
"Historically it's been hard,"
"It's analogous to adult parole. He's still subject to supervision and conditions applied by the court."
"The consummation of this acquisition is expected to effectively unite the resources of two of the largest information technology companies in health and human services. By combining the strengths of Creative Socio-Medics and CMHC Systems, we believe inpatient, outpatient, institutional and community-based systems will view us as a single source for solutions to their IT needs. We are very excited by the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to serving an expanded community of agencies with proven solutions for all modalities of care."
The crime was so famous, Hollywood was inspired to base the movie "Goodfellas" about it. One of the men behind the 1978 Lufthansa heist was indicted on Thursday, after more than 35 years evading arrest. Brian Mooar reports.

Who is Ireland's energy for? The people or data centres? James Conway
James Conway of Sligo/Leitrim shows us that multinational corporations are using a huge amount of energy on data centres while planting sitka spruce plantations as carbon off sets. the West needs to Wake!
Ireland currently has 66 data centres.
With an additional 44 new data
centres currently under construction or with approved planning and five more going through the application process, this number will most likely rise. EirGrid calculates that, by 2028, data centres will be consuming 29 per cent of Ireland’s electricity.
