Welcome Back To Another video from SpottersUK, Today we're back with another Trains at Speed Video, Today we're on the Great Western Mainline with Services including Class 800 IET's and also some regional services such as the GWR Class 165's and 166's which have adopted the Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central Routes Over the Last Couple Of Years.
The Stations in this video Include: Keynsham, Didcot Parkway, Twyford and Finally Maidenhead. As most of you will know, Maidenhead is known for a large number of passing services with access to the two passing platforms which is a change to some of the Station on the Great Western Mainline which have Fences to prevent people from wondering across to the faster platforms, which is understandable.
It's a shame that the old Class 43 HST's aren'...

With the High Speed Trains now at an end of their regular express services with GWR, I made a short video of HSTs on the Great Western Mainline at their max speed of 125mph. Filmed at various locations in 2012, 2013 and 2014. This was before the electrification which has now dramatically changed the look of the mainline. #thelastoftheHST #endofHST #GWRhst
