Boh Runga1969/1970 (age45–46) is a New Zealand recording artist and was the lead singer and guitarist in New Zealand rock band Stellar. Boh is the older sister of Bic Runga and Pearl Runga who are also musicians.
Biography
Boh grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand. She is the daughter of Joseph Runga, a Maori ex-serviceman and Sophia Tang, a Chinese singer who abandoned her own music career in Malaysia to join Joseph in his home country. Joseph was a self-taught pianist and died in 2005 from a heart attack.
Boh left Christchurch for Auckland to form Stellar in the late 1990s. After signing with Sony Music, Stellar released their 1999 debut album Mix and quickly became Sony's biggest selling New Zealand band as the album went multi-platinum. Stellar also secured eight Tui Awards for Mix and its 2001 follow up Magic Line.
After the release of 'Magic Line' and the subsequent touring of New Zealand, Australia and Europe, Boh headed to Los Angeles in 2003 to hone her skills as a songwriter at the invitation of her LA-based music publishers, Chrysalis. She now lives in Los Angeles. Since 2003, she has been married to Campbell Smith, who is the manager for her sister Bic and chief executive of the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand.

The humans living asking more and more We just don't realize, but the world is full of treasures You find them in yourself The humans are asking more and more Don't realize, but the world is full of treasures You find them in yourself What is necessary for our times today? We must not do the same mistake We all live in this blue planet We live with this blue planet together I think like that in the place where a nostalgic wind blows When this place is gone It means that we are lost We're crying for the ideal that can not be thrown away Our pleasure and sadness are in nature We are born together, we share the time, and we die What is necessary for our times today? We must not do the same mistake We all live in this blue planet We live with this blue planet together This planet is our family The great nature always defends us The water, the soil, and a blooming flower Everything in this blue planet is beautiful How can we make it dirty? Can you think of it again? We are all living in this earth Where you find a beautiful nature, there is a peaceful paradise Let's live our life with all our might You will shine like this planet What can we do now? It's more important to think about the future than look back past mistakes
