Don Williams (born May 27, 1939, Floydada, Texas, United States) is an American country singer, songwriter and a 2010 inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame. He grew up in Portland, Texas, and graduated in 1958 from Gregory-Portland High School. After seven years with the folk-pop group Pozo-Seco Singers, he began his solo career in 1971, singing popular ballads and amassing 17 number one country & western hits.
His straightforward yet smooth bass-baritone voice, soft tones, and imposing build earned him the nickname: "Gentle Giant" of country music.
When Don was three years old he sang in a local talent contest—his first public performance—and won first prize, an alarm clock. He began playing guitar as a teenager, which he learned from his mother. While a teenager, he played with country, rock n' roll and folk bands. He formed his first band with Lofton Kline, called The Strangers Two, and in 1964 was approached by Susan Taylor to form a trio which ultimately became the Pozo-Seco Singers, a folk-pop group. The band recorded a song called, "Time" on a local label called Edmark Records and it became a regional hit in their home state of Texas. Columbia Records, picked up the record, signed the group, and released a series of Top 50 hits and three albums. After releasing a fourth album on Certron Records in 1970, the group disbanded in 1971.
Dr Don Williams AO HonFIEAust CPEng FTSE (1937–2001) was born into a railway family. With sound business acumen and keen intellect he oversaw revolution in Australian railway practices during the 1980s and helped initiate reform processes that continued for many years after he left the railway industry.
Williams began his railway career in 1954 as an engineering cadet for the Western Australian Government Railways (WAGR), and by 1959 graduated from the University of Western Australia, where he became a Design Engineer, a position he would hold until 1964 when he briefly became the Acting Assistant District Engineer based at Kalgoorlie. In 1965 Williams resigned from the WAGR on completion of his indenture.
After leaving the WAGR Williams undertook further university studies. He undertook post-graduate degrees specialising in bridge design at Rice University in Texas and Imperial College London, gaining a PhD in 1969. In 1971 Williams returned to Australia to work for Redpath Dorman Long, a British company tasked with the redesign and reconstruction of the West Gate Bridge in Melbourne, that collapsed during initial construction in 1970. He was the Project Engineer for the project, but left in March 1977 before the bridge was officially opened.
Donald Reid Williams (September 2, 1935 – December 20, 1991), nicknamed "Dino," was an American professional baseball player. He was a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m), 218 lb (99 kg) right-handed pitcher who had a three-game, two-week trial in Major League Baseball for the 1963 Minnesota Twins.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Williams began his 11-year professional career in 1955. Eight years later, after a successful half-season with the Triple-A Dallas-Fort Worth Rangers, he was summoned by the Twins. He made his MLB debut on August 4, 1963, against the Kansas City Athletics, in whose farm system Williams had previously toiled. In that game, he pitched 1⅓ innings of scoreless relief, although he did allow an inherited runner to score and loaded the bases in his final inning. His other two outings, on August 13 against the Baltimore Orioles and August 17 against the Washington Senators, were less successful. Williams returned to the minor leagues and remained there through the 1966 season.
The Troggs (originally called The Troglodytes) are an English rock band formed in Andover, Hampshire in 1964. They had a number of hits in the United Kingdom and the United States. Their most famous songs include the U.S. chart-topper "Wild Thing", "With a Girl Like You" and "Love Is All Around", all of which sold over 1 million copies and were awarded gold discs. "Wild Thing" is ranked #257 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and was an influence on garage rock and punk rock.
Reg Presley (vocals) and Ronnie Bond (drums) were childhood friends and in the early 1960s formed an R&B band in their home town of Andover. In 1964 they were joined by Pete Staples (bass guitar) and Chris Britton (guitar) and became the Troggs. They were signed by Larry Page, manager of the Kinks, in 1965. They recorded on Page's Page One Records, and Page also leased them to CBS for debut single "Lost Girl". Their most famous hit was the single "Wild Thing" (written by Chip Taylor) (the song on the b-side of the single depended on the country where it was sold), which with the help of television exposure on Thank Your Lucky Stars reached number 2 in the UK (c/w Reg Presley's song "From Home") and number 1 in the United States in July 1966. Its combination of a simple heavy guitar riff and flirtatious lyrics helped it to quickly become a garage rock standard. It was recorded in one complete take (take two) at Olympic Studios in London, with Keith Grant engineering. Because of a dispute over US distribution rights, "Wild Thing" was released (along with the first album of the same name) on two labels: Fontana and Atco. The band's success in the US was also limited by not touring there until 1968.
"Give It 2 Me" is a song by American singer and songwriter Madonna, featured on her 11th studio album Hard Candy. It was released on June 24, 2008 by Warner Bros. Records as the second single from the album. The song was written by Madonna as an anthemic, self-manifesto song which, although it appears to be about dance and sex, is a reference to Madonna's career spanning three decades in the music industry. Musically, "Give It 2 Me" is an upbeat dance-pop song, featuring instrumentation from West African percussion and cowbells. Backing vocals are provided by Pharrell Williams.
"Give It 2 Me" received positive reviews from contemporary critics. The song became Madonna's 39th number-one single on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. It charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for one week, and reached a peak of 57 only, due to limited radio play. The song topped the music charts in Hungary, the Netherlands and Spain, while it peaked within the top ten of the charts in many other nations, including Canada, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
Give It to Me is the third single from Mobb Deep's debut album with G-Unit Records, Blood Money. The song features Young Buck and is produced by Profile. It samples Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
In the music video directed by Jessy Terrero it features various cameo appearances by Spider Loc and G-Unit members including 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.

Don Williams performing I Believe In You Lyrics: I don't believe in superstars Organic food and foreign cars I don't believe the price of gold The certainty of growing old That right is right and left is wrong That north and south can't get along That east is east and west is west And being first is always best But I believe in love I believe in babies I believe in mom and dad And I believe in you Well I don't believe that heaven waits For only those who congregate I like to think of God as love He's down below, he's up above He's watching people everywhere He knows who does and doesn't care And I'm an ordinary man Sometimes I wonder who I am But I believe in love I believe in music I believe in magic And I believe in you I know with all my certainty What's going on with you and me Is a g...

Oh, its late I know I should be leaving
We've both got someone waiting, we'll have to go
And it's so strange to think that I've just met you.
I almost wish I had met you long ago
And in your eyes I see a certain look
And that same look must be in mine
And who knows just what we might have been,
Another place another time
I'll admit in time that I'll forget you
'Cause the truth is I still love her after all
But even though we knew it couldn't happen
For a moment we felt something, Oh, so strong
And in your eyes I see a certain look
And that same look must be in mine
And who knows just what we might have been,
Another place another time
And who knows just what we might have been,
Another place another time...
