Like a sculpture carved out of stone, the vision of a modern villa is here realized that abstracts and reinterprets classical rules: for an incomparable sense of living in the middle of nature.
In the most pleasant seclusion, undisturbed, "The Sculpture" is the most attractive retreat a hamburger inhabitant can imagine. Concrete, glass and steel - these are the three main materials that determine the characteristic appearance of this villa.
Surrounded by the elegance of the building's interior and exterior design as well as the peaceful forest, the owners of this property can concentrate on the desirable contents of life. The construction of the object leads to a pleasant level of privacy and security because it is closed to the street but open to the other side to the pool, whirlpool and forest to satisfy the natural urge for freedom.
The floor-to-ceeiling window fronts provide the living area with plenty of daylight and opening up the view into the green landscape. A highlight are the large steel blades that span the glass and connect the lower and upper levels. As soon as the day is over, the numerous elegant designer lamps provide the rooms with an atmospheric light, exquisite designer furniture and a very modern fireplace which creates irresistible coziness and warmth.
"The Sculpture" convince with originality. The property is not a modular house, but develop from a unique vision. With a mixture of "Bauhaus style" and brutalism, it exudes strength and defensiveness to the outside without losing its elegance, inward security, generosity and tranquility. It gives its owners a sublime feeling of freedom.

The Migration Period shook Europe and formed the basis of modern countries known to us today. In particular, it significantly affected the British Isles. Since the 5th century AD tribes — Saxons, Jutes, Angles, Frisians — arrived actively from the continent. On the islands, they were opposed by the native inhabitants, the Britons, who were not welcoming the conquerors. The confrontation, which went down in history as the Anglo-Saxon Invasion, began.
Over several centuries of wars, new kingdoms rose, becoming the fundamentals, over which modern England with its counties will one day emerge. The conquerors brought a new political system to the islands, along with a new religion — Christianity. It is from this period of the ancient history of England that the legends about King Arthur originate. Watch the video to get a grasp on the The Anglo-Saxon Invasion, also known as the Heptarchy.

Halle (Saale) Tour | Saxony Anhalt - Germany 🇩🇪 #halle #leipzig #saale #travel #deutschland
Halle (Saale), or simply Halle (German: from the 15th to the 17th century: Hall in Sachsen; until the beginning of the 20th century: Halle an der Saale; from 1965 to 1995: Halle/Saale) is the largest city of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, the fifth most populous city in the area of former East Germany after (East) Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz, as well as the 31st largest city of Germany, and with around 239,000 inhabitants, it is slightly more populous than the state capital of Magdeburg.
Together with Leipzig, the largest city of Saxony, Halle forms the polycentric Leipzig-Halle conurbation. Between the two cities, in Schkeuditz, lies Leipzig/Halle International Airport. The Leipzig-Halle conurbation is at the heart of the larger Central German Metropolitan Region.

Living in Germany Vlog: Private Country Estate in Saxony Anhalt 😳
Life in Germany especially is summer is great! I’m having my ultimate Germany travel summer. I was invited alongside my friends to spend the weekend at the country estate of the Alexander von Bismarck. The estate is called Schloss Döbbelin and is located in Saxony Anhalt. It is sometimes open to the public. The Döbbelin Castle has been the seat of the von Bismarck family for 19 generations. The current owner, Alexander von Bismarck, restored the house to its original beauty by lovingly restoring it, beginning in 1991.

A Weekend Trip to the Harz Region in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
instagram.com/trembichmovingmoments
All information given in this video is from Wikipedia.com
The Harz Region is like a little Scotland in Germany to me.
The Bodetal, in which both Hexentanzplatz and Rosstrappe are located, has a lot of the same feel than the Scottish Highlands and the sourrounding Harz areas remind me of the Lowlands and Ireland.
I really enjoyed my weekend there and hope to have given some interessting informations about the places as well as an erge to go there yourself.
Cheers from Germany =)

1. Saxony-Anhalt is a state of Germany. Saxony-Anhalt was part of the communist German Democratic Republic. Massive investments in modern infrastructure have taken place since 1990. Even though part of this recovery was induced by the quite good performance of the Germany economy, Saxony-Anhalt did not only follow the national trend, but clearly outperformed other German states.
2. The state of Saxony-Anhalt originated in July 1945 after World War II, when the Soviet army administration in Allied-occupied Germany formed it from the former Prussian Province of Saxony and the Free State of Anhalt. Saxony-Anhalt became part of the German Democratic Republic in 1947, but was dissolved in 1952 during administrative reforms and its territory divided into the districts of Halle and Magdeburg, with the city of Torgau joining the district of Leipzig. Saxony-Anhalt was re-established in 1990 following German reunification, excluding Torgau, and became one of the Federal Republic of Germany's new states.
3. Magdeburg is the capital city and the second largest city of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Founded by Charlemagne in 805 as Magadoburg (probably from Old High German magado for big, mighty and burga for fortress), the town was fortified in 919 by King Henry the Fowler against the Magyars and Slavs. Magdeburg has been destroyed twice in its history. The Catholic League sacked Magdeburg in 1631, resulting in the death of 25,000 non-combatants, the largest loss of the Thirty Years' War. Allies bombed the city in 1945, destroying much of it.
4. Saxony-Anhalt was the most industrialized region of the German Democratic Republic. The reunification of Germany caused the closing of many factories, which reduced pollution, but swelled the unemployment figures dramatically. Economic plight has prompted half a million people to leave the state since 1990. After the breakdown of communism and the German reunification in 1990, the collapse of non competitive former GDR industries temporarily caused severe economic problems. In 2000, Saxony-Anhalt had the highest unemployment rate of all German states, at 20.2%.
5. Martin Luther (1483-1546) was an Augustinian monk and university lecturer in Wittenberg when he composed his “95 Theses,” which protested the pope’s sale of reprieves from penance, or indulgences. Although he had hoped to spur renewal from within the church, in 1521 he was summoned before the Diet of Worms and excommunicated.
6. Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was a German philosopher, cultural critic, composer, poet, philologist, and Latin and Greek scholar whose work has exerted a profound influence on Western philosophy and modern intellectual history.
7. The present British and Belgian royal families descend in patrilineal line from the House of Wettin, which originated in the village of the same name along the Saale River.

Halle lies in the south of Saxony-Anhalt, in the Leipzig Bay, the southernmost part of the North German Plain, on the River Saale (a tributary of the Elbe), which is the third-longest river flowing entirely in Germany after the Weser and the Main. The White Elster flows into the Saale in the southern borough of Silberhöhe. Halle is the fourth largest city in the Thuringian-Upper Saxon dialect area after Leipzig, Dresden, and Chemnitz.
Halle is an economic and educational center in central-eastern Germany. The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, with campuses in Halle and Wittenberg, is the largest university in Saxony-Anhalt, one of the oldest universities in Germany, and a nurturing ground for the local startup ecosystem. The university hospital of Halle (Universitätsklinikum Halle (Saale)) is the largest hospital in the state.
