Georgia State Route 108
State Route 108 (SR 108) is a state highway running through northwestern Cherokee County and southern Pickens County in northwestern Georgia. The route begins at SR 20 in Sutallee and ends at the intersection of SR 53 and SR 53 Business in Tate.
Route description
SR 108 begins at its intersection with SR 20 in Sutallee in west-central Cherokee County, west of Canton and north of Lake Allatoona, and right in between I-75 and I-575. The route heads north, locally known as Fincher Road, in the direction of Lake Arrowhead, before angling slightly to the northeast to pass the lake to its east, and runs into Waleska, just northeast of the Lake Arrowhead. In Waleska, SR 108 crosses SR 140 and passes Reinhardt College, which is located at the intersection of the two routes, before continuing northeast through northern Cherokee County and into south-central Pickens County, paralleling I-575 to this point.
Just inside Pickens County, the route makes a sudden turn to the southeast at its intersection with Henderson Mountain Road, nearly crosses back into Cherokee County, and then curves sharply to the north to run through the community of Cagle. In Cagle, SR 108 turns to the northeast and crosses SR 5/SR 53/SR 515, just north of where I-575 ends and these routes continue north as the Appalachian Highway. East of SR 5, the route, known as Waleska Highway in Pickens County, picks up a concurrency with SR 53 and runs east into Tate, where SR 108 terminates at its intersection with SR 53 Business, and where SR 53 continues east in the direction of Dawson County.

Missouri Route 108
Route 108 is a short highway in the Bootheel of southeastern Missouri. Its eastern terminus is the Arkansas state line at Arkansas Highway 77, about six miles (10 km) south of Arbyrd, the only town on the route. Its western terminus is at U.S. Route 412 (US 412) about two miles (3 km) north of Arbyrd. Although signed as an east–west route, the route follows mostly north–south roadways. The route was designated in 1930, and was extended east in 1972.
Route description
Route 108 begins at the Arkansas state line in Arkmo, Dunklin County, where the road continues south into that state as Highway 77. From the Arkansas-Missouri state line, the route heads north as a two-lane undivided road, passing a few homes and businesses in Arkmo before running through farmland. The road continues through rural areas to the southern edge of Arbyrd, where it reaches an intersection with Route 164. At this point, Route 108 turns east to form a concurrency with Route 164, with the two routes passing through more fields before running to the south of industry. Route 108 splits from Route 164 by heading north on East Frisco Street, passing homes and a few businesses. Route 108 leaves Arbyrd and heads through more agricultural areas before reaching its eastern terminus at US 412. In 2012, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) calculated 1,057 vehicles traveling north of the state line. This is expressed in terms of annual average daily traffic (AADT), a measure of traffic volume for any average day of the year.

Virginia State Route 108
State Route 108 (SR 108) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. Known as Figsboro Road, the state highway runs 4.24 miles (6.82 km) from SR 174 near Collinsville north to SR 657 and SR 890 at Figsboro.
Route description
SR 108 begins at an acute intersection with SR 174 (Kings Mountain Road) east of Collinsville and north of Martinsville. The state highway heads north through northern Henry County. SR 108 reaches its northern terminus at its intersection with SR 657 (Old Quarry Road) at Figsboro. Figsboro Road continues north as SR 890 toward SR 40 at Penhook in southern Franklin County.

Georgia State station
Georgia State is a train station in Atlanta, Georgia, serving the Blue Line of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It also serves part-time on the Green Line. The station is located within the James H. Floyd State Office Building in Downtown Atlanta and was constructed concurrently with the building in the late 1970s. Exits are located on Piedmont Avenue and Jesse Hill Jr. Drive (formerly Butler Street). The station's name is in reference to its proximity to Georgia State University.
The station provides access to Georgia State University and the Georgia State Capitol. Access is also provided to Grady Memorial Hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Hughes Spaulding, The Fulton County Health System, the Georgia Archives, James H. Floyd Twin Towers State buildings and Turner Field. Bus service is provided at this station to Lakewood Stadium, Piedmont Park, and Atlanta Medical Center.

U.S. Route 23 (US 23) is a part of the U.S. Highway System that runs from Jacksonville, Florida to Mackinaw City, Michigan. In Virginia, the U.S. Highway runs 60.80 miles (97.85 km) from the Tennessee state line near Weber City north to the Kentucky state line near Pound. US 23, which is known as Orby Cantrell Highway for most of its course, is a four-lane divided highway that follows Corridor B of the Appalachian Development Highway System through Southwest Virginia. The U.S. Highway serves as the main east–west highway of Scott County and the primary north–south highway of Wise County. US 23 runs concurrently with US 58 from Weber City to Duffield and with US 58 Alternate between Big Stone Gap and the independent city of Norton.
Route description
US 23 enters Scott County at the Tennessee state line south of Weber City immediately north of the northern end of the US 23 freeway that becomes Interstate 26 in Kingsport. At the state line, US 23 has a partial interchange with the northern end of SR-36 (Lynn Garden Drive) and SR-346 (Carters Valley Road). US 23 passes through a gap between Cloud Ridge and Long Ridge at the state line, then crosses the North Fork Holston River on the John M. Johnson Memorial Bridge. The U.S. Highway enters the town of Weber City as Main Street, which parallels Norfolk Southern Railway's Appalachia Division as a four-lane undivided highway. At the north edge of the town, US 23 intersects US 58 and US 421 (Hilton Road); the three highways run concurrently with the railroad through Moccasin Gap, where Moccasin Creek passes through Clinch Mountain. US 23, US 58, and US 421 enter the town of Gate City; U.S. Route 23 Business, U.S. Route 58 Business and U.S. Route 421 Business pass through the center of town while the mainline of the U.S. Highways follows the flank of Clinch Mountain to the south of town.

Rhode Island Route 108
Route 108 is a 8.6-mile (13.8 km) long state highway in Washington County, Rhode Island. The route begins at an intersection with Ocean Road in the village of Narragansett Pier (within the town of Narragansett), just north of Point Judith Light. The route's northern terminus is at an intersection with Route 138 in the town of South Kingstown, just east of the University of Rhode Island. In between, Route 108 connects to the Block Island Sound community of Galilee and passes through the villages of Wakefield and Peace Dale.
Route description
Route 108 begins at an intersection with Ocean Road in the village of Narragansett Pier, several blocks north of Point Judith Light. Route 108 proceeds eastward as Point Judith Road, before turning northward at White Swan Road. The route is residential in nature for several blocks, soon intersecting with the Galilee Escape Route, which connects Route 108 to the village of Galilee and the Point Judith Block Island Ferry, which connects to Block Island. Route 108 continues north through Naragansett Pier, passing west of the park that once served as Fort Nathaniel Greene. After the junction with Knowlesway Extension, Route 108 becomes residential once again, winding northward through the northern end of the village. After Burnside Avenue, the route winds northward, passing west of the Port Judith Country Club as a two-lane residential and wooded road.

Heading northbound after the Brookwood Interchange with I-75, I-85 is routed along a ten lane wide viaduct from the Buford Highway Connector (exit 86) to State Route 400 (SR 400, exit 87). Continuing northeast of Atlanta, I-85 continues through the northeastern suburbs, bypassing Chamblee and Doraville, where there is another intersection with I-285 (nicknamed Spaghetti Junction). The Interstate then travels through the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta, including Lilburn, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Buford. Though not signed on the freeway, they are HOT lanes, which means registered transport vehicles, carpools with three or more occupants, motorcycles, and buses are exempt from toll charges as long as they are registered as such.[4] Tolls are collected using an electronic toll collection system. All travelers that use the lane must have a Peach Pass sticker to avoid fines.[5][6] Starting in November 2014, SunPass (Florida) and NC Quick Pass (North Carolina) are inter-operable with Peach Pass, allowing motorists with those transponders to use the express lanes.
On November 3, 2018, an extension to the express lanes opened, from its former ending at Old Peachtree Rd to Hamilton Mill Rd (exit 120).[7] After this extension, four more northbound exit points were added: at SR 317 (exit 111), I-985 (exit 113), SR 20 (exit 115), and at its end at Hamilton Mill Rd (exit 120). In addition, four new access points were added to the southbound express lanes: at SR 20, SR 317, Old Peachtree Rd, and at the connection to the pre-existing express lanes.[8] The project costed $178 million.[9] The express lanes extension will incur a separate charge from the existing express lanes. This is to decrease the impact of high congestion on the existing express lanes on the dynamic pricing of the express lanes extension, since lower congestion is expected on the new extension of the express lanes.[10]
Funds generated from the express lanes will be used to defray the costs of construction, operations and maintenance of the lanes. Long term revenue allocation is being studied and a decision about future excess revenues will be made later in the project process.[11]
Proponents for the express lanes say it is to provide commuters with a more reliable, free-flow commute option; complement the state’s multi-modal approach to managing traffic demand; and establish the vision for a future system of HOT lanes in the region.[5] Detractors point out that existing infrastructure was reused for the express lanes and that commute times on the non-paying travel lanes have doubled since implementation.

I ride across the state of California from west to east and back. from Santa Cruz to hwy 108 Sonora pass, to Bridgeport, CA in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. I put in 518 miles in 12 hours on a non stop return trip on a Sunday. this is a bucket list ride, with epic scenery and camping available, and great fishing to go along with the beautiful land scapes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Georgia State Route 108
State Route 108 (SR 108) is a state highway running through northwestern Cherokee County and southern Pickens County in northwestern Georgia. The route begins at SR 20 in Sutallee and ends at the intersection of SR 53 and SR 53 Business in Tate.
Route description
SR 108 begins at its intersection with SR 20 in Sutallee in west-central Cherokee County, west of Canton and north of Lake Allatoona, and right in between I-75 and I-575. The route heads north, locally known as Fincher Road, in the direction of Lake Arrowhead, before angling slightly to the northeast to pass the lake to its east, and runs into Waleska, just northeast of the Lake Arrowhead. In Waleska, SR 108 crosses SR 140 and passes Reinhardt College, which is located at the intersection of the two routes, before continuing northeast through northern Cherokee County and into south-central Pickens County, paralleling I-575 to this point.
Just inside Pickens County, the route makes a sudden turn to the southeast at its intersection with Henderson Mountain Road, nearly crosses back into Cherokee County, and then curves sharply to the north to run through the community of Cagle. In Cagle, SR 108 turns to the northeast and crosses SR 5/SR 53/SR 515, just north of where I-575 ends and these routes continue north as the Appalachian Highway. East of SR 5, the route, known as Waleska Highway in Pickens County, picks up a concurrency with SR 53 and runs east into Tate, where SR 108 terminates at its intersection with SR 53 Business, and where SR 53 continues east in the direction of Dawson County.
