Full Throttle Coffee (Discontinued)
Full Throttle released three coffee energy drinks of its own in the flavors Caramel, Vanilla, and Mocha in Southeast and Pacific Northwest markets. Coca-Cola claims it is made with "100% premium Arabica coffee", and it was available in 15oz cans, just like Monster's Java line and Rockstar's Roasted line. The drink's tagline was "Coffee. Fully Charged" prior to it being discontinued.
Full Throttle is a computer game released in 1984 for the ZX Spectrum and MSX. The player races a 500cc Grand Prix motorcycle on any of ten of the world's top racing circuits.
Gameplay
After selecting a track to race on, the player starts at the back of the grid, with 39 other bikes. Cornering too quickly will cause a skid, while running off the road slow the bike down, and making contact with another rider forces the bike to a halt, allowing the following riders to stream past the player as the bike gets going again. There are ten circuits in the game, and part of the key to winning is to know the circuit well enough to predict the bends. There is a practice mode, in which the player rides round the track without any other riders, or the player can choose a race of between one and five laps. The best position achieved is shown at the bottom of the menu-screen, along with the player's time ahead of the second-place man. As soon as the track or number of laps is changed, this record is reset.

Bog-standard sequel to an already bog-standard game. Surely this could have done without one could it? Sadly you STILL lose all of your speed with the softest kiss from another rider. And the music gives me a headache! Oh arses!

From the man who brought you Deathchase comes......a bog-standard motorbike racing game.....oh the shame!
Okay I probably shouldn't knock the game too much but it badly flickers and its annoying that even with the slightest of touches you lose all of your speed. And simply put it is nowhere near as good as Deathchase.

Attract Mode Demo for Top Speed/Full Throttle
Attract mode demo for Taito's response to Sega's OutRun known as Top Speed (a.k.a. Full Throttle in Japan). the one thing that helped Top Speed stand out was the use of nitrous bursts which gave the player a temporary burst of speed whenever it was needed by the player.
Interesting Tidbits:
*some billboards in the game advertise other Taito games such as Plump Pop, and Operation Wolf. in addition, some of the billboards feature two undercover officers who bear similarity to Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs from Miami Vice. ironically, that billboard would end up spawning one of Taito's well known hits one year after Top Speed was released known as Chase H.Q.
