Boy (stylized BOY) is a Swiss/German pop duo founded in 2007 by Swiss singer Valeska Steiner and German bassist Sonja Glass. The two met while at a pop-music course at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in 2005. The band initially played concerts exclusively, before being discovered and signed to Herbert Grönemeyer's label, Grönland Records, in 2011.
Their debut album, Mutual Friends (Gold-certified in Germany), was produced by Philipp Steinke and released in the autumn of 2011. The band sings entirely in English in a style reminiscent of that of Leslie Feist.
In the UK, Mutual Friends was released by Decca in June 2012. The North American release of the album is set for February 2013 on Nettwerk Records.
Boy won the Hamburg Musician Prize HANS in 2011 in the category Hamburgs Newcomer of the Year, and their album Mutual Friends won the 2012 European Border Breakers Award (EBBA).
The duo's song "Little Numbers" was also featured in the Lufthansa Airline's Business Class advertisement in mid-2012. In 2013 the song was at No. 4 in the Japan Hot 100.
Edgar Zivanai Tekere (1 April 1937 – 7 June 2011), nicknamed "2 Boy", was a Zimbabwean politician. He was the second and last Secretary General of the Zimbabwe African National Union who organised the party during the Lancaster House talks and served in government before his popularity as a potential rival to Robert Mugabe caused their estrangement.
Pre-Independence
During the war, Tekere served on the ZANU high command, or Dare reChimurenga. He was detained by the Rhodesian government at Gonakudzingwa.
Early life
Edgar Zivanai "2-Boy" (nom de guerre) Tekere was an early ally of Robert Mugabe within the Zimbabwe African National Union (of which he was a founder member in 1964) during the fight for independence and against the Rhodesian Front government of Ian Smith. Mugabe and Tekere, having served eleven and a half years in Hwa-Hwa Penitentiary & Gonakudzingwa State Prison as political prisoners of Ian Smith's government, immediately left upon release and crossed the Eastern Highlands Border in Mutare through the mountains by foot, following the Gairezi river trail to Seguranza military camp in Mozambique, to mastermind and kickstart guerilla warfare, aided by Samora Machel, in 1975. The Bush War or Second Chimurenga raged on. harassment of Tekere's close family members and relatives by the platoon of Rhodesian Front Soldiers, Selous Scouts, Police Special Branch and Central Intelligence Organisation, under the auspices of Ian Smith.
Darling is a free and open sourcesoftware application that aims to allow applications designed for OS X to run on the Linux operating system.
Darling is a compatibility layer, like Wine. It duplicates functions of OS X by providing alternative implementations of the libraries and frameworks that OS X programs call. This method of duplication differs from other methods that might also be considered emulation, where OS X programs run in a virtual machine.
The project started in Summer 2012 and builds on a previous project, named maloader, which was discontinued due to a lack of time. The developer is testing applications, such as Midnight Commander or The Unarchiver on the layer. So far, the layer has been shown to work with many console apps and some simple GUI apps.
The project relies on GNUstep for the implementation of certain frameworks and provides wrappers on top of common Linux libraries to reuse as much existing open source code as possible.
The project may also support iOS applications in the future.
Girl's Day (Hangul:걸스데이) is a four-member South Korean girl group formed under Dream Tea Entertainment, a subsidiary of Wellmade Yedang in 2010.
The group consists of four girls who perform under the stage names of Sojin, Minah, Yura and Hyeri. Their official fan club name is Dai5y, changing the S in daisy as they had 5 members when they created this name.
Career
Pre-debut
Dream Tea started Girl's Day promotions before their debut with the creation of an official blog, YouTube channel, and Twitter accounts for the group and each member.
A forum made by fans was also recognized by the company as their official international forum.
The group also had dance flash mobs before their debut at the commercial and entertainment districts of Seoul, gaining interest of the public.
On July 7, the group released their first music video for the song "Tilt My Head". Two days later their debut mini-album. Girl's Day Party 1, was also released. They went on to further promote the album by releasing a second music video on July 21 for the track titled "How About Me", which was about summer. On September 12, only two months after their debut, it was announced that members Ji Sun and Ji In had left the group to pursue their respective interests; Yura and Hyeri were then added to the group. On October 29, the new line-up released their first digital single album, Girl's Day Party 2, which includes the lead track, "Nothing Lasts Forever" (잘해줘봐야 Jalhaejwo Bwaya).
Drive is the third album by American actor/singer/songwriter Scott Grimes, released in 2010.
History
Drive is the follow-up to his 2005 release, Livin' on the Run. His first release was the 1989 A&M album Scott Grimes. This album features songs written during many personal changes for the writing team of Scott Grimes & Dave Harris. Both men, having gone through divorces in 2006, used that experience as the backbone of this release. Songs like "Back Into You", "Waiting" and "What Love Is" reflect a somber tone, while others like "Hide", "Corner Pub" and "Soon I Will Be Found" are tongue-in-cheek and fun to listen to. One of the album's highlights is the last track, "(I Don’t Wanna) Let You Go" which Grimes & Harris co-wrote with Julian Lennon and John Spinks of The Outfield.
Music and lyrics
Drive, musically and lyrically is a slight departure from Grimes' previous album Livin' on the Run which was more rock-oriented. Drive is a quieter and soft rock-oriented album with more personal lyrics by Grimes & Harris, who both went through divorces during the writing of this album.

Lena Philipssons album "My Name" from 1989 was one of her greatest albums so far. It contained several songs that became huge hits in Sweden.

RR8046A ZIMBABWE TRIBALISM AND THE TEKERE TRIAL
(14 Nov 1980) RR8046A ZIMBABWE TRIBALISM AND THE TEKERE TRIAL
Background to Story: The trial in Zimbabwe of Government Minister of Manpower
Development, Edgar Tekere, has focused attention on major problems faced by the
newly independent state. Mr Tekere and seven of his bodyguards were accused of
murdering an elderly White farmer, and so Zimbabwe's White minority wanted
reassurance at the trial that their lives and property do have official
protection. The case also brought to light evidence of continuing rivalry between
the Zipra forces of Mr Nkomo, and the Zanla forces of Mr Mugabe, which led to the
fight for independence. During the trial there occurred the most serious outbreak
of fighting between the rival groups at a barracks outside Bulawayo. It reflects

Lena Philipssons album "My Name" from 1989 was one of her greatest albums so far. It contained several songs that became huge hits in Sweden.

It reflects
the tribal division between the supporters of Robert Mugabe (a Shona) and Joshua
Nkomo (an Ndebele).

GS02049002 President Robert Mugabes ruling Zimbabwe African national
2.4.90 Union (ZANU) party won overwhelming margins in presidential
and parliamentary elections, but fell short of taking the
total control of seats that would have led to the immediate
creation of a one-party state. Final results announced on 1
April, three days after polling closed, showed Mugabe easily
fending off a personal challenge from former colleague and
sole rival for the presidency, Edgar Tekere, leader of the
breakaway Zimbabwe Unity Movement (ZUM). Mugabe polled
