County Hospital is a Laurel and Hardyshort film made in 1932. It was directed by James Parrott, produced by Hal Roach and distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Ollie is in hospital with a broken leg, Stan comes to visit and ends up getting Ollie kicked out; on the way home Stan crashes the car.
Plot
Ollie is in the hospital with a broken leg. Stan pays him a visit (he did not have anything else to do) bearing a "thoughtful" gift of hard-boiled eggs and nuts. Ollie complains he cannot eat hard-boiled eggs or nuts and asks Stan why he did not bring a box of candy. Stan explains boxes of candy cost too much and that Ollie did not pay him for the last box he had brought him. While eating an egg, Stan knocks over a jug of water and Ollie hits him on the head with a bedpan. Dr. Gilbert comes in to examine Ollie and tells him he should be in the hospital at least two months, to Ollie's delight; this is the first time he remembers having such a wonderful rest. But Stan causes so much trouble, the angry Dr. Gilbert orders both patient and guest out of the hospital at once. "You had nothing else to do so you thought you'd come around and see me," says an irritated Ollie. "Here I was for the first time in my life having a nice peaceful time and you had to come and spoil it. Get my clothes." Before leaving, Stan first manages to destroy a pair of trousers belonging to Ollie's roommate (who is also going home) and then accidentally sits on a hypodermic needle loaded with sedative. The nurse comes in, discovers this and nearly collapses into hysterics. Stan attempts to drive Ollie home, but is nearly asleep at the wheel thanks to the sedative, and the car careens wildly through the streets in a token comic "reckless driving" sequence of hilarious (yet obviously staged) traffic chaos...until Stan finally smashes the car between two streetcars, bending it into a 90 degree angle so that he can only drive round and round in circles.
Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust runs Dorset County Hospital, an NHS district general hospital in the town of Dorchester, Dorset, England. The hospital is the hub of the district's inpatient facilities but community hospitals, formerly owned by the North and South West Dorset Primary Care Groups are situated in the surrounding major towns and provide the 'spokes' to the central unit. Dorset County Hospital has 500 beds.
Origins
The hospital was founded in 1840 and the first purpose-built buildings were constructed in 1841 south of Princes Street in the town centre. The site's facilities continued to expand through the 20th century in a piecemeal fashion, leaving a crowded site with several old buildings unsuitable for modern clinical care. It was thus that a site for a new purpose-built District General Hospital for the area was identified to the west of the town centre, on the land sandwiched between Bridport Road, Damer's Road, Damer's First School and the Bristol to Weymouth railway line. This was adjacent to Damer's Hospital, originally the workhouse.
The Dorset or Horned Dorset breed of sheep is known mostly for its prolific lambing. It has been known to produce two lambing seasons per year: bred in May for lambs finished by the holidays, and bred again immediately after the first lambing to produce again in March or April. This type of management, the ewes sold with the lambs, sometimes produces as many as four or five lambs a year.
The Cornell University Sheep Program developed and teaches the STAR system to promote frequent lambing with Dorsets. Cornell maintains a research and teaching flock five miles south of Dryden, New York, USA. The Dorset has a white face with close short fleece. It has a solid build, with broad back and short legs. Originally, both rams and ewes had horns. The Polled Dorset originated in a herd at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, and a registry of the polled Dorset was established in 1956. Since then the polled breeders have outnumbered the breeders of the horned variety.

I came home to a house without you The air was stale, the walls were bare But somehow I still knew, that you were there I wanna see you more I miss your company I wish that things were still The way they used to be The phone call at 3am To come and pick me up Was i born to be a ballet dancer, or an astronaut If I needed to talk, you would make the time for me I wish that things were still The way they used to be But only for a day Just so I can say That I remembered you Because I wouldn't be the same If anything was changed And thats the truth I wanna see you more I miss your company I wish that things were still The way they used to be I wanna see you more I miss your company I wish that things were still The way they used to be But only for a day Just so I could say That I remembered you But only for a day The way they used to be But only for a day
