When people tell me Jerry Garcia just 'aimlessly noodles'...
There's no doubt, there is plenty of aimless noodling in the Grateful Dead's live catalog. But they got bangers. Here's a great example of an economic, concise Garcia solo that hits real good.

Oh, I added chapters to this one, the links work in bottom of description. I don't know how long it takes for youtube to apply them to the video :)
This is the full video with bonus interviews with surviving band members and Robert Hunter at the end
This video was flagged as being "720p" but was obviously not a true 720p because there were interlacing artifacts which were not from a "720i" recording.
I did a bunch of work on it in vegas pro, and with other video editing software to get rid of the interlacing, which involved initially DOWNSCALING the video to native resolution to get to the stated "30p" then went through a couple upscaling phases to get to 1080P resolution using some ai interpolation.
If this had been a real "720p" video, I would have aimed for 4k, but it wasn't worth it given how much repair work had to be done to get to this level.
I used the original production soundboard on this.
Yes, I've already done the DVD. I am not sure what the source of this one was, but it was different than the DVD source. If anyone knows -- please let me know. There was obviously some kind of online or offline release of this show with the interviews outside of the release DVD.
As always, thanks for the support

The Shape of Jazz to Come is the third album by jazz musician Ornette Coleman. Although Coleman initially wished for the album to be titled Focus on Sanity, after one of the songs on the album, it was ultimately titled The Shape of Jazz to Come at the urging of Atlantic producer Nesuhi Ertegun, who felt that the title would give consumers "an idea about the uniqueness of the LP." Released on Atlantic Records in 1959, it was his debut on the label and his first album featuring his working quartet including himself, trumpeter Don Cherry, bassist Charlie Haden, and drummer Billy Higgins. The recording session for the album took place on May 22, 1959, at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, California. Two outtakes from the session, "Monk and the Nun" and "Just for You", would later be released respectively on the 1970s compilations Twins and The Art of the Improvisers. In 2012, the Library of Congress added the album to the National Recording Registry.

''Change of the Century'' is the fourth studio album by jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman, released on Atlantic Records in 1960, his second for the label.
Randolph Denard Ornette Coleman (March 9, 1930 – June 11, 2015) was an American jazz saxophonist, violinist, trumpeter, and composer. He was one of the major innovators of the free jazz movement of the 1960s, a term he invented with the name of a 1961 album (Free Jazz: A Collective Improvisation). He was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 1994. His album ''Sound Grammar'' received the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for music.

Ramblin' is basically a blues, but it has a modern, more independent melodic line that older blues have,of course. I do not feel so confined to the blues form as do so many other jazz musicians. Blues are definite emotional statements. Some emotional situations can only be told as blues...(Ornette Coleman,as told to Garry Kramer)
