Overview
The mission of the Department of Justice and Equality is to maintain and enhance community security and equality through the development of a range of policies and high quality services which underpin:
The protection and assertion of human rights and fundamental freedoms consistent with the common good
The Department of Justice and Regulation (formerly Department of Justice) is one of nine departments of the Government of the State of Victoria, Australia. Greg Wilson has been the Secretary since March 2013.
The main purpose of the department is to assist the government achieve its vision of "a safe and just Victoria." The department does this by contributing to the administration of civil and criminal justice and public safety, responsible management and regulation of gaming and racing and providing an effective framework for consumer affairs.
The Justice portfolio consists of business units and statutory entities aligned under eight key functions. This includes all police and prosecution functions, administration of the court system, provision of the prison and community corrections services, administration of various tribunals and agencies established to protect citizens' rights, emergency management, provision of emergency services, policy on racing and gaming issues and the provision of legal advice to government.
The New South Wales Department of Justice, a department of the New South Wales Government, is responsible for the administration and development of a just and equitable legal system of courts, tribunals, laws and other mechanisms that further the principles of justice in New South Wales.
The department's headquarters are located in the Justice Precinct Office, part of the Parramatta Justice Precinct in Parramatta, in western Sydney. The department's more than 4,000 staff are located across New South Wales.

Part two of the 'No Excuses' campaign.
To reflect Ireland’s ambivalence towards sexual violence and harassment we shot an ad using familiar scenarios - an office space, a pub, a dressing room, a nightclub. In each scene this level of harassment escalates.
But then we relayed it to a series of focus groups and captured their reactions. Doing this, gave us an insight into the way people (of all ages and backgrounds) excuse or ‘fob off’ every day incidences of sexual harassment and sexual violence
The video shows Ireland’s perceptions of sexual harassment and sexual violence, and the excuses regularly made for this behaviour. Ireland has the highest levels of sexual harassment in Europe and the second highest of all 40 countries surveyed.
