Bob Dylan asked Mansfield to tour with him on his 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour; he remained in Dylan's band through their 1978 world tour.
After the Revue ended in 1976, Mansfield and two other members of Dylan's band, T-Bone Burnett and Steven Soles, formed The Alpha Band. The band released three albums, The Alpha Band in 1977, Spark In The Dark in 1977, and The Statue Makers of Hollywood in 1978.
In 1986 Mansfield was an initial member of Bruce Hornsby and the Range, including playing the title instrument on the hit "Mandolin Rain". However he left the Range before their first tour.
With mini-high platforms on both tracks, Mansfield is fully handicapped accessible. Large parking lots are available west of the tracks, with limited parking including accessible spots next to the station building east of the tracks.
Mansfield is located on a straight section of the Northeast Corridor where the Acela Express is permitted to travel at its top speed of 150mph (240km/h). Mansfield and Kingston are the only two stations where the Acela reaches this speed on platform tracks.
In a runoff election held in May 2014, Roy Rogers Jones unseated Republican Troy N. Terrell, a local pastor who ran unsuccessfully in 2011 for the Louisiana State Senate against another Republican, Sherri Smith Buffington of Keithville in southern Caddo Parish. Questions have since arisen about Jones' residence in a different district than the District B, from which he was elected. Jones moved out of the district because of a house fire, but he has not yet returned to the area he represents on the city council. In 2013, he pleaded guilty to four misdemeanortheft counts in connection with a misappropriation of funds at the DeSoto Parish Council on Aging. Jones' wife is the former COA director. Two of her relatives were convicted of felonies in the matter.
Settlements in the district include Mansfield itself, where the council is based, together with Mansfield Woodhouse, Forest Town and parts of Pleasley, with Warsop and Meden Vale distanced and annexed by open countryside. The district is entirely unparished apart from Warsop, which retains a parish council.

Unlike most English councils, Mansfield District Council is led by a directly elected mayor, following a campaign in 2002 by local businessman Stewart Rickersey to achieve a referendum to change the governance away from the traditional CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and elected Chairman-with-Cabinet, composed of councillors entitled Cabinet Members.
David (Bulgarian:Давид) (died 976) was a Bulgarian noble, brother of Emperor Samuel and eldest son of komes Nicholas. After the disastrous invasion of Rus' armies and the fall of North-eastern Bulgaria under Byzantine occupation in 971, he and his three younger brothers took the lead of the defence of the country. They executed their power together and each of them governed and defended a separate region. He ruled the southern-most parts of the realm from Prespa and Kastoria and was responsible for the defence the dangerous borders with Thessalonica and Thessaly. In 976 he participated in the major assault against the Byzantine Empire but was killed by vagrant Vlachs between Prespa and Kostur.

However, there's also another version about David’s origin. David gains the title "comes" during his service in the Byzantine army which recruited many Armenians from the Eastern region of the empire. The 11th-century historian Stepanos Asoghik wrote that Samuel had one brother, and they were Armenians from the district Derjan. This version is supported by the historians Nicholas Adontz, Jordan Ivanov, and Samuil's Inscription where it’s said that Samuel’s brother is David. Also, the historians Yahya and Al Makin clearly distinguish the race of Samuel and David (the Comitopouli) from the one of Moses and Aaron (the royal race):

David Abraham Cheulkar (1909 – 28 December 1981), popularly known as David, was a Jewish-IndianHindi film actor and a member of Mumbai's Marathi speaking Bene Israel community. In a career spanning four decades, he played mostly character roles, starting with 1941 film Naya Sansar, and went on to act in over 110 films, including memorable films like, Gol Maal (1979), Baton Baton Mein (1979) and Boot Polish (1954) for which he was awarded the 1955 Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.

David graduated from the University of Bombay with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the year 1930. After a six year unsuccessful struggle to land himself a job, he decided to try his luck in the Hindi film industry by becoming a professional actor. During these years of struggle, he also managed to obtain a degree in law from the Government Law College.
Finally, on 15 January 1937, with the help of his close friend Mr. Nayampalli, a veteran character actor, he managed to land himself his first role in a movie. The movie was Zambo and it was being produced and directed by Mohan Bhavnani who was the Chief Producer of the Films Division of the Government of India.
