"Come Back to Me" is the 10th episode of the ABC television series, Desperate Housewives. The episode was the tenth episode for the show's first season. The episode was written by Patty Lin and was directed by Fred Gerber. It originally aired on Sunday December 19, 2004.
Maisy Gibbons, first met as the perfectionist dictator running the school play in the episode Running to Stand Still, is receiving gentlemen callers for money. Having felt snubbed by Bree a few years earlier when her husband had lost his job and they could no longer afford the country club, she gloats that one of her customers is Bree’s husband Rex. While performing as a dominatrix for Rex he admits to her that he still loves Bree and she advises him to just tell Bree what he needs which he says he won’t do because she would refuse. Minutes later he has a heart attack at the peak of his excitement. When Bree is called to the hospital she sees that Maisy signed the admission form and goes to confront her. Maisy tells Bree that Rex still loves her and that he has sexual needs that he is afraid to discuss with her. Maisy silently gloats when Bree asks her if she fulfilled those needs for him, echoing Bree’s earlier perceived snub in regard to Maisy’s reduced circumstances. Bree is not to be outdone, however, and leaves Maisy with the knowledge that Bree still thinks Maisy is someone to be pitied, not reviled. When Rex wakes following his operation, Bree is waiting with concern. He apologizes and she tells him she knows he still loves her, that Maisy told her, and she is glad that he didn’t die, because she wants him to know that she is going to find the most vindictive lawyer she can and eviscerate him, taking his money, his family, and his dignity. She leaves hurt and gloating and files for divorce.
"Come Back to Me" is a pop and R&B song by Japanese American pop singer Utada. The song was written by Utada and Stargate and was produced by Utada, Stargate and her father, Sking U. "Come Back to Me" is the first single from her second English-language album This Is the One. In the United States, the song has peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play and number 93 on the Pop 100 chart.
The production of "Come Back to Me" started in 2008. Utada took a few demo tracks that Stargate had produced and just started to write. "Come Back to Me" was chosen as the lead single because Utada felt the song "enters the listener naturally" and "comes into them easily".
Adam Benjamin Irby of Bleu Magazine called the song a "Mariah-esque" song, that is musically reminiscent of "We Belong Together". Michael Botsford of AudioScribbler said that the song is "cheesier than your local pizzeria’s finest, but it knows it. It’s a not a song that we warmed to, but I imagine every teenage girl in the country who’s suffered a break up will well up at the eyes when they hear it."
Come Back to Me is a 2014 psychological horror film directed and written by Paul Leyden. It stars Katie Walder and Matt Passmore as a married couple who experience unexplained night terrors after a new neighbor (Nathan Keyes) moves in next door. It is based on The Resurrectionist by Wrath James White.
As a teenager, Dale witnesses the apparent murder of his mother, Eileen, by his meth-addicted father. When the police arrive, they confront and kill Dale's father. The officer who discovers Eileen runs from the house and vomits, but Dale re-enters the house and tells his mother that everything will be all right. Years later in Las Vegas, Dale moves next door to married couple Sarah and Josh, who introduce themselves by taking over cookies. Although disappointed that the cookies are not homemade, Dale accepts them anyway. Josh explains that he is a croupier and Sarah a graduate student who is working on her dissertation on the effects of pornography. When Sarah questions Dale as to why he is staring at her, he says that she reminds him of someone, later revealed to be his mother.

Julia Houston (Debra Messing) and Tom Levitt (Christian Borle), a Broadway writing team come up with the idea of a new musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, Bombshell. Producer Eileen Rand (Anjelica Huston), in the midst of divorce proceedings from her philandering husband, jumps on board and brings with her Derek Wills (Jack Davenport), a difficult but brilliant director. Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) is initially cast as Marilyn, but is forced to deal with competition from the talented, yet naive ensemble member Karen Cartwright (Katharine McPhee). Julia's former lover Michael Swift (Will Chase) is initially cast in the role of Joe DiMaggio. However when Julia and Michael's reunion causes serious trouble in her marriage to Frank (Brian d'Arcy James), the decision is made to fire Michael. The role of Marilyn is recast with film star Rebecca Duvall (Uma Thurman), leaving Ivy devastated. After a somewhat disastrous out-of-town opening in Boston, Rebecca is felled by a peanut allergy and the actor playing Joe departs the production for a better gig. Derek casts Karen in the role of Marilyn and Michael is reinstated as Joe. Karen discovers Ivy has slept with her fiancé Dev (Raza Jaffrey), while Eileen finds out that her assistant Ellis (Jaime Cepero) was the one who poisoned Rebecca and fires him. Karen gets through her debut and the season ends with the closing number being applauded by the audience.

Lyrics to the Smash Mouth song All Star, from their 1999 album Astro Lounge. Lyrics: Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Back to the rule and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold It's a cool place and the...

Hear my voice
Where you are
Take a train
Steal a car
Hop a freight
Grab a star
Come back to me
Catch a plane
Catch a breeze
On your hands
On your knees
Swim or fly only please
Come back to me
On a mule in a jet
With your hair in a net
Or a towel wringin' wet
I don't care
This is where
You should be
From the hills
From the shore
Ride the wind to my door
Turn highways to dust
Break the law if you must
Move the world only just
Come back to me
Have you gone to the moon
Or the corner saloon
And to rack and ruin
Mademoiselle
Where the hell
Can you be?
In a crate
In a trunk
On a horse
On a drunk
In a Rolls or a van
Wrapped in Mink or Saran
Any way that you can
Come back to me
