THE BEST FIFA MEN'S COACH 2016 - Claudio Ranieri WINNER
Claudio Ranieri has crowned a year of seeming impossibilities by reaching the pinnacle of his profession as The Best FIFA Men’s Coach. His Leicester City side were ranked 5000/1 by some bookmakers to win the 2015/16 English Premier League title when the Italian first took charge in July 2015 – the same odds as Elvis Presley being found alive. Ranieri went on to inspire his charges, instilling an unrivalled team spirit as the club claimed the first top-flight title in their 132-year history. As the 2016/17 season kicked off, the Italian guided the Foxes to the UEFA Champions League knockout stages, in their inaugural season in Europe’s top club competition.

Leicester players soak Claudio Ranieri & journalists in champagne
Even following confirmation on Monday that Leicester had won the Premier League could not have prepared anyone for the events at the King Power on Saturday.
Everton were dispatched with ease, 3-1 by the champions, in another clinical display which could and should have ended in more goals for and none against.
Before the game there were great scenes as Andrea Bocelli led the celebrations with (King) Claudio Ranieri.
And, after the game, the image and pictures of Ranieri and Leicester captain Wes Morgan lifting the Premier League trophy will be one that lives with many of us for years to come.
The atmosphere in the King Power was incredible and it seems safe to say that none of the players or coaching stuff, nor the supporters, wanted to leave the pitch.
