Explore the best things to do in the British Virgin Islands in 2024! This travel guide will show you the top attractions and activities to enjoy in this stunning Caribbean destination. While here in BVI I did a lot of island hopping from Tortola to Virgin Gorda. Then I actually went from Virgin Gorda down to the West End and caught the ferry to Jost Van Dyke. From Jost Van Dyke I caught the ferry to to USVI which went through St John where we processed immigration then went to St Thomas. We will also do a US Virgin Islands vlog soon. We do some island hopping going to Water Island and try out a few ferries. We visit several beaches on St Thomas like Magens Bay, Coki Beach, Brewers Bay, Maho Bay, Trunk Bay and much more. You can easily visit the British Virgin Islands from US Virgin Islands. Visiting islands like Tortola and Jost Van Dyke by ferry from St John. St Thomas is the most developed and most popular island. St John is considered the most scenic because it is mostly a National Park. In this US Virgin Islands vlog we talk about safety, currency, transportation, things to do and much more. If you are coming from the United States to visit USVI directly you do not need to bring a passport or process immigration. If you are visiting the USVI from another country or plan to island hop to the BVI or other Caribbean islands you will need to bring a passport if you plan to move around a lot. There are 55 islands and cays in the USVI and another 60 Virgin islands and cays in the British Virgin Islands. The BVI are so close you can get there by a 25 minute ferry ride.
