— Line 5, currently known as Cornellà Centre - Vall d'Hebron, its termini, and often called "Línia Blava" (Blue line), is line belonging to the Barcelona Metro network operated by TMB, and part of the ATM fare-integrated transport network.
Overview
It opened in 1959 as the (original) line 2. Line 5 is 18.8km. long and has 26 stations, from Cornellà to Vall d'Hebron in the northern part of Barcelona, where it meets L3.

The North-south regional rapid railway is a railway construction plan in Budapest, modelled on the Paris RER or German S-Bahn systems. Its aim is to connect 3 suburban train lines of the BHÉV system, from the directions of Szentendre, Ráckeve and Csepel. The plan is also called Metro 5.
History
In the '90s, the growth of the suburbs was not accompanied by public transportation. Population growth was especially strong in Buda and in Csepel island region, but the HÉV lines end at the boundaries of the downtown area, where passengers have to change to go into the city. Hence the idea was born to connect the HÉV lines underground. Lord MayorGábor Demszky first spoke of plans in 2002.
In 2005 the city council set aside a first 100 million forint for the project. The council proposed to implement the investment between 2007 and 2010 with European Union funding, but this was rejected. In 2007 deputy mayor Miklós Hagyó stated the council wanted to begin construction of the railway, and in February 2008, the Urban and Suburban Transport Association (VEKE) designed a four track version of the metro line, now proposing to build the railway line from European Union sources between 2014 and 2020.
The Sennichimae Line(千日前線,Sennichimae-sen) is an underground rapid transit line in Osaka, Japan. It is one of the lines of the Osaka Municipal Subway system operated by the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau. It links the northwestern district of Fukushima-ku and the southeastern district of Ikuno-ku with the central commercial and entertainment district of Namba. Its official name is Rapid Electric Tramway Line No. 5(高速電気軌道第5号線), while the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau refers to it as Osaka City Rapid Railway Line No. 5(大阪市高速鉄道第5号線), and in MLIT publications, it is written as Line No. 5 (Sennichimae Line)(5号線（千日前線）). Station numbers are indicated by the letter S.
Platform screen doors are located at all of the stations. The first station, Minami-Tatsumi, had them installed on March 14, 2014 and operation started in April. The final station, Nodahanshin, had them installed and operation started in December.
Line 5 of the Beijing Subway (Chinese:北京地铁5号线; pinyin:běijīng dìtiě wǔhào xiàn) was Beijing's first subway with a north-south route. It runs for 27.6km, in a near straight line, just east of the city centre from Tiantongyuan North in Changping District to Songjiazhuang in Fengtai District. Metro Line 5 is planned to be Beijing's first true north-south line. Unlike Line 2 and Line 13 which north south travel must transfer between portions of the loop and half loop, line 5 is a straight line that more effectively relieves north south traffic pressure in Beijing. In addition, the Line will serve the booming communities of Tiantongyuan in the north which lack any subway connection. It entered into operation on October 2007. After the start of construction, house prices along the line began to rapidly grow. In a short period of 20 days after the opening, the surrounding housing prices along the subway line increased 23.3% , reaching nearly 20,000 yuan RMB / square meter. Line 5's color is maroon.

Unlike Puerto La Cruz, which was mostly built in the 20th century, Barcelona has a mish-mash of historical and modern architecture from its several years of growth and development. The settlement of Nueva Barcelona del Cerro Santo (English: New Barcelona of the Holy Mountain), was originally established by the Spanish conquistador Joan Orpí (a native of Piera, Catalonia in Spain). It was later re-founded and populated by governor Sancho Fernández de Angulo two kilometres from the original settlement, and by a small community of Catalan colonists around 1671. Barcelona was one of the provinces under the governmental authority of the New Andalusia Province (Nueva Andalusía, or New Andalusia), and referred to commonly as New Barcelona. One of the remaining buildings of this period is the Museo de Anzoátegui, considered the oldest building in the city.
Barcelona is an album recorded by Freddie Mercury, frontman of popular British rock band Queen, and operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé. Released in 1988. It is the second and final solo album recorded by Mercury.
After Barcelona was selected to host the 1992 Summer Olympics, Mercury was approached to write a song as a theme for the forthcoming games. The idea was to create a duet with Montserrat, as she is from the city. He had been a long standing admirer of her and she in turn grew to respect his talents very highly. They decided to work on an album together, with Mercury and Mike Moran taking the creative lead as songwriters. Mercury and Moran made and sent her tapes of the music with Mercury singing in falsetto as a guide vocal for Montserrat's parts. As they rarely had an opening in their schedule to meet, her parts were recorded at another location.
A special edition of the album was released on 3 September 2012. It features a new version of the album with the previous instrumental tracks replaced with new, live symphonic orchestration and percussion rather than synthesisers and drum machines. The new edition also has a new unique album cover.
