THE INNER MONGOLIA EXPERIENCE 🐑 Exploring China's Northwest Frontier 内蒙冬天一日游,看看我能挖出多少好玩的东西来!
Get a taste of one of China's most mysterious regions: Inner Mongolia! 🐐 This is actually my 4th time in Inner Mongolia, but I've only ever visited in the spring/winter/fall so I've NEVER seen the legendary grasslands and this video is grass-free (sorry grass enthusiasts). However, there are many things in here that I would say are on par with grass in terms of excitement: uncles taking their birds for a walk at the street market, colorful architecture, one-of-a-kind local foods, (spoiler alert) a brief encounter with SHEEP! , and more. Hop on the bullet train and join me 🚄
(if you want to see grass, I do plan on visiting Hulunbeier summer 2025! stay tuned)

A Drive through Inner Mongolia
Every step from the vast grasslands to the deserts was a new discovery. The locals were friendly and welcoming, eager to share their culture and traditions. The food was delicious, with flavours and spices that were new to me. Riding on horseback through the grasslands was a highlight, as was watching the sunset over the sand dunes. Overall, Inner Mongolia was an unforgettable experience I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking adventure and a taste of a different way of life.

Mongols have a Second Home: Inner Mongolia
What if youd' be living in a province that stretches from east to west about as much as the distance between London and Istanbul? Now, what if that province would barely represent 12% of the entire country? Such a place does exist and it's called the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia.

What if youd' be living in a province that stretches from east to west about as much as the distance between London and Istanbul? Now, what if that province would barely represent 12% of the entire country? Such a place does exist and it's called the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia.

Mongolia: Rise and fall of an empire | DW Documentary
Mongolia. For most of us, a name that brings to mind the powerful empire of Genghis Khan. This film is a journey through Mongolian history and into modern Mongolian culture. It offers fascinating insights into the little-known central Asian nation.
Mongolia, a country rich with forests, deserts and steppes, borders Russia to the north and China to the south. But its chief influences today come from South Korea and the West.
Director Robert H. Lieberman and filmmaker Deborah C. Hoard introduce novelists, journalists, politicians, activists, poets, painters and a comedian, all of whom shed light on the young republic - and its young population.
Historians, archaeologists and local residents tell the story of the vast empire. The eastern European and Asian territory captured by a fighting ...

First Impressions of MONGOLIA : From Soviet Era to Nomadic Life
Mongolia used to be a big white spot for me on the map, it always inrigued me, and finally I am here! I started my trip on the border with Mongolia in Russia - Ulan Ude, the capital of Buryatia republic. Then headed to Ulaanbaatar and further to the steppes to stay with a nomadic family and learn about country's Soviet heritage and nomadic traditions.

Tsaatan, the last free men of Mongolia
They are nicknamed “the Reindeer People”. They are one of the most amazing tribes on the planet. There are only two hundred of them left and they live in the far north of Mongolia, in a deserted, inaccessible and frozen region. Always isolated from the world, the Tsaatans, these nomadic reindeer herders, have preserved their ancestral traditions and practice shamanism. They live in small family clans, inhabiting simple canvas tents in temperatures that drop to minus 40 degrees in winter. But they say they are happy to live like this, free, in the middle of sublime and preserved nature. And they never complain. Their happiness and their way of life, day by day, offer a striking contrast with our Western lives. But today, the modern world and technology are catching up with them. School, rec...

🇲🇳 There aren't many countries as unknown and as mysterious as the one called Mongolia. All we know is the name Chingis Khan and nothing else pretty much. Well I wanted to fill in the blanks in my mind and travel to the vast remote country slap bang in the middle of Asia to see what it was like. And unlike the few other YouTubers who are had visited Mongolia and just ridden a horse or stayed in a tourist yurt, I was going to go to the mean streets of the cities and to meet the people. And, well, see for yourself what happened...
Cheers to backpacker ben for driving us around the country. Check out his channel @BackpackerBen

JOURNEY into MONGOLIA
My new sound effect pack :) - https://bit.ly/My-Sound-Effects
I went on a solo adventure into western Mongolia with Indy Guide (https://indyguide.com) to explore what this amazing part of the country had to offer and visit the eagle hunters of the region, I was not disappointed. The views were on another level, especially in the Altai mountains but the Kazahk people were just extremely welcoming and open which made the experience one to remember. Staying with a different family each night, experiencing their daily routines and eating and drinking with them. We continued to make our way around the west, attending the Nauryz eagle festival and exploring some of the snowy mountains in the Altai by horseback. Filming my adventure through Mongolia was extremely tough, we were on the move consta...

The eastern European and Asian territory captured by a fighting force of united Mongol tribes was the largest contiguous land empire in the history of the world. The film looks the beyond the figure of Genghis Khan, the notorious founder of the Mongol empire, and explores the multi-faceted legacy of the realm. It’s a legacy that still makes itself felt in the present day.
This film was directed by Robert H. Lieberman and Produced by PSP Productions.

School, recently made compulsory for children, is at the center of all their questions. What to do? Protect children from progress they consider harmful or educate them and offer them the opportunity to integrate into civilization? These nomads know that they will have to choose between their traditions and contemporary life, between their freedom and comfort. Aware of being at a turning point in their history, will the Tsaatans manage to survive the encounter between their world and ours? This documentary offers us a spectacular journey into a timeless universe, miraculously preserved.

Special thanks to my friend Paul who lives in Mongolia and who took me under his wing when I arrived. Without his help I'd still not have a SIM card or had been able to hire a car. See you in the South of France mate 👍
Also thanks to Olivia 'Dogecoin' who took me to the worst transexual bar in Mongolia.

Filming my adventure through Mongolia was extremely tough, we were on the move constantly and electricity is hard to come by so I relied on power banks a lot to charge my camera, being from Africa i'm not used to temperatures as low as -20 degrees celsius during this time of the year and of course the language barrier but I thoroughly enjoyed the every moment and it was one of the most raw feelings of travel I have experienced.
Thanks to Ati Tosun from Indy-Guide for making this trip such a success in terms of an adventure, I hope this video gives a small insight into what is to be expected when visiting this part of the world.
